I never get more then bushes or fences. Last one was "250 money"

I've gotten another mystery box 6 or 7 times leading to more bushes and fences.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I've gotten donuts from the box several times. Once I got 30. I got a Homer Buddha in the box recently. I haven't opened it yet. I wish I could place the it as a decoration.

My understanding is that if you win SVT in a box, but already have him, you'll get back your 30 donuts. Unless you're unlucky enough to win him while in Krustyland. Some people end up with an unusable SVT in inventory that way.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Small Update Today:

New Gil Offer: Chester J. Lampwick's Solid Gold Mansion -- 250 donuts (it's not a multiplier; pays out $135/15XP every four hours). Triggers a new, three-part quest line, starting with Homer.

Limited time availabilty, expires early Tuesday morning.

WARNING: It doesn't appear to work within the confines of the donut "Confirm Spend" -- you tap the offer, you buy it.

Also, the Nuke button has returned.

While it's mostly garbage, I have gotten donuts in the mystery box. Yesterday I even got five donuts in the Krustyland balloon game for the first time in forever.

I couldn't spend that amount even accidentally. For that price, it should put out donuts everyday.

On the Itchy and Scratchy quest line:

Spoiler:
It's annoying that Rod and Todd can't be assigned to watch TV like the other kids.
Spoiler:
Until I need a kid to drink an extra cold Squishee for No. 1 and all the other kids are working on that eight-hour task!

Got the table today.

I have three people sitting at it having a good old time.

Would like them to add the time remaining to the censor find the person search thing

sneaky developers. I want to see how the building looks like before I buy so I would cancel but now I am have to dig around the neighbors to see it. I don't think it's worth it without any special characters included like the old guy who drew itchy and scratchy.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

A lot of people couldn't get Gil after the earlier update. I couldn't either. Another update has been pushed out that fixed it for me.

I've seen very few episodes of the show, but it felt fitting to the characters. And, as you found out, it seemed like a good idea.

Doesn't seem like the mansion is worth it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Looks like I won't get enough coins in time for the table. I was a few days late starting since I needed to reinstall the game for the Stonecutter Event to start, plus I missed a few days last weekend since I wasn't around.

I'm dumb.

So I got the table. Homer is singing. I can't get the donuts.

When I tap on Homer I get the prompt to speed up the task. I tapped 10 times and nothing.

How should I tap?

Or that Easter egg doesn't work when that task is part of the SC mission?

You have to like tap past the prompt and on him. It's a bit tricky but I got it to work. I was well past the quest stage, but I wouldn't think that would make a difference.

Once he's at the table singing, tap him once and make sure you leave his status bar/timer bar open, then tap him repeatedly.

Ugh, I put in a ticket request to EA but I don't have my hopes up. Not even sure what they could do, really. Meanwhile, I'm afraid to log in and have this be permanent though that's not going to help me earn emblems... Was going to get Jasper and one other premium with my 300 donuts after the Stonecutters event was over. Took me months to save all of those donuts. Pretty bummed by the lack of confirm spend notification on this one.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

That sucks. There are ways you can get donuts if you're so inclined. Not going to mention it here though for obvious reasons.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

So you didn't put the mansion in your town? I was going to check it. I actually want to check how it looks in a town. Not that I'm planning to buy it though.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I have it in my town. Username is kwstub (ignore the link on the first page, it is out of date and you'll have to visit my town). If you visit head to the very front shoreline, find Duff Stadium and then head back a little and you'll see it.
