I made it all the way to the final level on Extreme, but I had zero lives left, and the extra life on that level on hard is not there for Extreme. I made a bad jump and it was over.

Ugh. I should be able to do it, I just need a life or two.

There's still one extra life in that level somewhere. I didn't find extreme to be any more difficult than hard, really. I think the lava at the last section goes ever so slightly faster than on hard and it was already fast on hard. Be on your toes and prepared to skip a few chains on your way up.

Consider your first go through as practice. You will have learned from your mistakes and I'm pretty sure you'll make it all the way through.

:hscratch: The leaderboard says you've only ran through the game once.

Done easy and hard so far myself. LosingMyMind is the only one on my WiiU leaderboard.

Yeah, I was actually going to ask you to check the leaderboard to check on that. It only shows that for me too. It didn't update any of my leaderboard stuff after my past two playthroughs. I'm done with the game until they release a patch.

I might sign in and see if it will update my stats, but I doubt it.

Also, you're able to access the leaderboards with no freezing? I can only look at one or two pages of them and then the system needs restarted.

Strange. The leaderboards on my end don't even update my play time. I'm going to do a quick playthrough on easy and see what that does.

Hey Michael, can you post my totals again? It looks like they all updated. I just did my playthrough and was able to be number 13 on quickest playthroughs. And what spot am I on most profitable playthroughs? It updated to 29 million. That one should be in the top 10, I would imagine.

I found that last extra life, it's in the hidden chamber later in the level.

I actually had a tougher time on Hard than I did on Extreme, especially on the last level. It took me several attempts on Hard to get past the lava at the end. On Extreme, I got it on the first try. I did have to do the race to the dime twice though. And I still had 2 lives left at the end.

Well, that's all 20 trophies!

Its tough. The platforming at the very end drove me crazy for awhile.

hmm, I don't recall anything too difficult. Only thing that comes to mind is the very final stage. Had to do that a few times.

There's some kind of glitch I get about half the time in the race for the #1 dime that makes me restart the entire last level. That's annoying.

No it's not just you. This game kicked my ass on a number of levels. Funny thing was, I remember myself speed running through the NES version with 1 life as a kid.

DuckTales: Remastered will be pulled from digital storefronts beginning on August 8, 2019, although those who own the game will still be able to access and play it.

While Capcom gave no reason for this removal, it most likely has something to do with licensing issues as DuckTales
For the final few days of its availability, DuckTales: Remastered will be "75% off most platforms before it gets removed for purchase." The platforms and removal times are below;

• Wii U - August 9, 4:59pm PT/7:59pm ET
• PlayStation 3 - August 9, 8am PT/11am ET
• Xbox 360, Xbox One (via Backwards Compatibility) - August 8, 5pm PT/8pm ET
• Steam (PC) - August 8, 4:59pm PT/7:59 ET

Disc-based versions of the game will still install and play normally, and Capcom does warn that "the times are approximate, so please don't wait until the last minute if you want to purchase the game digitally while it's still available."

I have it on PS3. Isn't this game on the PS4 under the Disney Afternoon bundle game with Darkwing Duck and Talespin? I could of sworn that I seen it on sale on the PS4 store.

The Disney Afternoon Collection has the original Ducktales, not the remastered version. That bundle will still be available for sale, since that likely had a different license.

That collection has 6 NES games: DuckTales and DuckTales 2, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 1 & 2, Darkwing Duck, and TaleSpin.

If you want the old school version of Ducktales. The Disney Afternoon Collection is on sale for $4.99 for Playstation Plus members. I bought it yesterday. I don't have a PS3, so I can't play the remastered version.

Well, Ducktales Remastered has already been pulled from the PS3 and Xbox stores. The Steam and WiiU digital versions are still available though.
