Thanks for posting that....I'm ok with the Class Armor but it's the Helm I'm hurting on with all three characters. Curious to see if that scout will have some of those good perks the Clever Dragon had which I kept a couple of.

The LEGACY Engram is for Helmets. Do Not Buy

For the Titan, it's Peregrine Greaves. Fly through the air with your shoulder charge (which is really a flying knee strike, but whatever)

For the Hunter, it's the Crest Of Alpha Lupi...AGAIN! Yes, just like last week.

For the Warlock, it's Voidfang Vestments...AGAIN! Yes, just like last week. WTF?

The weapon this week is The 4th Horseman. Just shoot me...

Ornaments this week:

Not A Toy for Zhalo Supercell. Camo for your lightning gun.

Silver Bullet for Nemesis Star. If the standard skin isn't silvery enough, here ya go.

Well, they could make Xur's gear Tier 12 level, like they've been doing with the Iron Banner gear. They could offer the three items he hasn't sold yet as opposed to selling two year 1 items for two weeks straight.

New event starting next Tuesday. SRL is back, new quests, strike scoring, new items. Looks like we are finally getting void and firelord....

Not to mention, Ice Breaker is back

It also looks like the Nexus Strike is finally being updated! That would mean all the strikes would be raised to current levels. Also saw a Thorn ornament shown off, and while hard to see from angles, I'm guessing Last Word and Red Death ornaments are being released as well (both weapons were in the trailer).

And the Ice Breaker is back...with Ornaments to boot. That leaves Pocket Infinity all by itself in Year 1 (well, Vex and Necro too, but they're raid weapons).

Black Spindle ornaments are coming too. One of them is Taken. And the updated Nexus Strike adds Taken to the mix. Feels kind of...outdated.

OK folks, it's that time of the week again. It's Xur Time!

Xur is located in North Tower this week, in front of the big door.

Here's what he's got:



The Legacy Engram is for Special Weapons. Don't buy this...unless you want an Ice Br....never mind! We get that next week! Instead, don't buy this unless you need a Pocket Infinity. This is the only way in Destiny to get a Pocket Infinity.

For the Titan, it's Dunemarchers. This is a Xur Debut. Finally, some new shit! Ever wanted a better version of Radiant Dance Machines for Titans? Here ya go!

For the Hunter, it's Sealed Ahamkara Grasps. Throw more smoke bombs..or knives...or ummm blink strikes.

For the Warlock, it's Alchemist's Raiment. Need some glimmer? This'll give you 3 or 5 on primary ammo pickup...sometimes! Also, it lets you charge your grenades and melee with orbs. Decent perk for Sunsingers.

The Weapon this week is Red Death. Remember, next week this will have new ornaments. And it'll heal you when you kill someone.

Ornaments this week:

Crucible Assassin for Trespasser. Black, silver and gold. Sexy as hell. One of my faves.

Thanks as always Scott for the weekly Xur update......

I've got two Red Death though one is only level 385 and the other is 400. I just stuff the infuse it higher....still my of my favorite guns. And I have that ornament for the Tresspasser; just haven't put it on yet.

...but did hit 400 on my Warlock last night getting a much needed Helm to free up better gloves and chests....

I went in to IB with my Titan last night just praying for one lousy Helm since the Helm is my shortcoming with all three characters,,,,got three and nothing else........He would be 400 if it weren't for the stupid three Exotic Gauntlets all at 399......

Looks good...but with all this new stuff you collect you are going to put it where.....or break it down for what...more Legendary Engrams that you already are overflowing with and nothing to use on except more useless materials or infusing lesser level armor and weapons....and I'm not even going to get into the 1500-2000 motes of light..

I'll do the racing as that was fun the last time around but I'm sure most are hoping the rewards are useful. The new Strikes for sure look good but if tougher then they need to up the probability of the reward and something unique for this special event...not the normal run-of-the-mill stuff or some cheesy "Masks" that had zero usefulness except taking up precious space.....
