if I recall from the beta you completely disguard them or you can store a certain amount of items in your locker at the Tower (can be shared between any class of character you create)

I didn't notice this in the Beta, as I didn't really look at what you got for kills and whatnot, but this game gives you NOTHING for killing above your rank.

Example: Kill a Level 1 Dreg, you get 20 XP. Kill a level 9 Dreg, you get 20 XP. Your rank doesn't matter. You get to rank 10, you can one shot kill level 1 Dregs to boost your XP. That's silly. Where's the incentive for taking down more powerful enemies?

This really comes into play when you're not on a mission, but doing those objectives and running into areas with Level 1 and 2 guys, along with other areas that have 8s and 9s. I was a 3, got an objective that pushed me into an 8/9 area, and had a rough go. The objective isn't even obtainable because I can't get high enough to scout the area apparently (an issue I had with the same objective in the Alpha and Beta).

Oh well, I guess if you want to max your rank out, this makes it easier.

I've played for about 5+ hrs now....

I first started the Titan and just got him to Level 3 so in case some just staring out I can join in and do the whole first story mission

I then got the Warlock up (Level 7) with me and anther friend doing the story part all the way finishing Devils Lair (help with a random)

Cannot say how much luck will be with others but the pickup & drops were no-where near what I go in the Alpha & Beta. So bad that when I went into Devils Lair everything I had was 'White" except a Green Level 2 Vest. No green guns period. I died more times in that mission than all the time I played the Alpha & Beta combined. I've opened up close to 20 chests and I would say 3/4 of them have been that Silverleaf stuff. I opened the chest under the platform fighting the giant eye in the last part of Devils Lair...a Green Level 1 Vest...no joking.

And the Engram Crystal Balls...seen about 4-5 tops. One was a green helmet and the others white. The person in the Tower you go see to upgrade and try to get better ones...haven't seen a single green item offered yet. And the person right from him on getting weapons...seen only one green gun offered.

I can tell a difference in the reduced damage of the rifles against the Fallen. The Hand Cannon seems better but some of the rifles take a few extra rounds to pop the head off instead of one good one. The accuracy of the enemy AI is dead on no matter how far away they are. The Moon is opened to me and was even before Devils Lair but I'm going to do Free Roam for a bit. didn't see a single Fire Fight or special mission the whole time.

PS...I did he Digital Guardian and I had to manually install the Season Pass. It was not automatic...hope to be on later and see some here on.

Once again, Google is your friend. After the beta most people knew what they were getting, so there wasn't a huge need for pre-release reviews. Also you have to be connected to Bungie's servers to play, and the servers weren't live weeks in advance, so that also would make pre-release reviews difficult.

In case anyone cannot find the "Bonus Items"....

1.Navigate to Destiny’s Live Area on your PS4’s XMB.
2.Scroll down to the “Related Items” tab.
3.Click “View All”
4.Download your pre-order bonuses and Vanguard Armory pack.
5.Boot up Destiny and go to the Tower.
6.Go to the Postmaster to grab your pre-order bonuses.
7.Go to the hangar and you’ll find the Vanguard Quartermaster waiting with a fresh supply of Vanguard weapons

They all show as "installed" for me.

The PS3 to PS4 upgrade did turn out to be more of a pain in the ass than it should have though. But worth the wait to get my kid a copy.

I'm pretty shocked that we don't have release date reviews on such a big title. Not a good sign if reviewers are given the game at the last minute. I did find this review on yahoo:

This is starting to look like the big turkey of the year. Next gen has been a massive failure in 2014 with this bomb and so many delays into 2015.
