Just a heads up, but Bungie did release a patch today, and it's one done as a patch, so if you haven't popped your PS4 on lately you might wanna get yourself prepared.

OK, the latest preview video has come and gone, here are some of the highlights.
The Speaker will have a new quest for Age Of Triumph. It will take us through all of the content again. Previous treasure packages are being replaced by one called Treasure Of Ages, which will include the items from all the previous packages. You will be able to earn 3 of them per week, and of course can buy them as well. Daily Story mission is being replaced with a Weekly story playlist. Missions will have modifiers and will also have themes (Mars and Venus, Earth and Moon, etc.). This playlist is alt 380 light and was being compared to Queen's Wrath. Challenge Of The Elders is being brought up to 390. Nightfalls get the Daybreak modifier, which will make the enemies tougher (Epic) but will also work as the mayhem modifier in crucible with fast recharge rates for grenades, melees and supers,. Daybreak will come around once a month. BLUE FLAMES ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! From July 18th through August there will be 6 weeks of Daybreak strikes. New ornaments for: Vex Mythoclast Necrochasm (confirmed as returning now) Touch Of Malice No Land Beyond Dragion's Breath Lord Of Wolves SUROS Regime Silver Dust kiosk updated and now you can buy a shitload more with dust. Crota challenegs confirmed as being Deathsinger and Crota. So we now know all the new challenge sections. |

OK, so we're less than a minute away from the last reveal for the last content drop for Destiny.
Time to see us some sweet loot...that will be left to rot in a few months... Why do people play Destiny: According to Bungie, it's the sweet sweet loot. They're starting with the fashion show and the new Vault Of Glass armor is leading off. Warlock looks like a Harpy, Titan looks like a Hobgoblin, Hunter doesn't really look like a Vex. The ornaments will be applied with tokens that are acquired in the weekly raid challenge. Raid primaries like Fatebringer now have two versions, a kinetic legendary, and elemental EXOTIC (adept) version. So yes, there's an exotic Fatebringer now. This could mean a shitload of new exotics. Although they just said that not all of the primaries have an exotic. Crota armor has glowing horns that disappear when you take damage, but grow back out when you start healing. Word Of Crota has an Exotic version. Black Hammer will NOT be available in the new Crota raid, as the Black Spindle exists. Necrochasm has been updated, and it's perk changed from critical kills causing an explosion to any kills leading to explosion. The new Oryx gear has the same kind of effect as the Crota gear, with a blue glow disappearing upon taking damage. Touch Of Malice ornament doesn't look much different than the original. King's Fall and Wrath Of The Machine raid primaries will now have exotic elemental primaries as well. And I guess it will be for all the primaries so that would be 16 new exotics. These Exotics will drop from the Weekly featured raid only. Looks like the exotic Genesis Chain is Solar. The exotic primaries are balanced in terms of elements. at least that's what they say. SUROS is getting 2 ornaments, with the second being an inversion of the original color scheme. Age Of Triumph will arrive ion March 28th at 10AM. No Land Beyond's ornament has a camo feel. Special Ammo crates now auto reload your special weapons, like the heavy crates do. Honestly,they didn't have all that much to say about the sandbox changes other than nerfing Skorri's artifact. No mention of Pocket Infinity. It's possible that it's being left behind. |

Just turned it on. Not only did they nerf hand cannons, but Deej just referred to Kings Fall weapons as iconic. rotfl
