Yeah, I don't know if it's intentional but whenever I see the "superior" or at least heftier X1 launch lists, the multiplat 360 & PC games seem to always make the cut, yet the PS4 lists always omit the PS3/PC games which would include Warframe, Blacklight R, Flower, DCUO, etc.

Doesn't X1 have Peggle 2(timed) at launch as well though?

Is there a rumored date yet for Rogue Legacy?

Apparently the main reason for Flower on the PS4 was above all else to showcase the controller features, something that is apparently very responsive this time around.

Part of it is they're new games coming to the Xbox One, not releases of formerly released titles. Not too worried about it, like any console launch we won't know if it's worth a damn or not for about a year.

Did I read right somewhere that there's no IR so it won't turn on w/a universal remote? Not a big deal, just seems odd if right.

The PS3 never had IR either. Logitech released a Bluetooth adapter for the Harmony remotes.

Nobody with any sense is writing anything off, though it's never "smart" to buy any of these things on day one.

Some people played up some outlier game reviews, but the reality is that Knack and Killzone both reviewed about a point off of their best case scenarios...Knack was never getting over 7, and KZ was never getting over 8.5. Contrast sounds disappointing, but Resogun looks spectacular, and Warframe and Blacklight are more or less known commodities. So it's hardly the end of the world.

We're getting a sleek and powerful console with a great controller at a great price tomorrow night, and it's not insignificant that virtually every third party game either now or in the future will be better on PS4, because that's most of what you'll buy anyway.

Thanks. Didn't know that since I've got the 360 and use my Logitech for everything. Just seems weird since I can use it on everything else, even an old VCR (now retired). No biggie, just feels a little weird you can now use your phone to control stuff but not a universal remote.

Yeah, I don't see the sky as falling, but I had pretty realistic expectations. I mean if it hadn't been for the B2G1 sale, I probably would have only bought Killzone. I was already planning on my PS4 not getting much use in the first few months.

If MLB 14, Driveclub, Infamous and The Order all get panned, then there might be a problem.

welcome to Sony proprietary bullshit. they just had to use bluetooth w/ the PS3 and now w/ the PS4, despite no real universal remote even using that standard. i'm sure someone will come up w/ a Nyko Bluewave workaround w/ a dongle, but frustrating as a customer not to have basic functionality like that.
