So far, nothin’ from Best Buy for me. No points, no shipping confirmation, not even a “you can’t cancel this because it’s preparing for shipment” or whatever. But maybe they’ll overnight it and everything’ll get here as expected.

Well, I've already got funds set aside in my Steam wallet specifically for this game, so it looks like I'm going to take my chances on PC. I'd rather do that than drop a fresh $60 on the Playstation version.

...and I got an “item(s) delayed” email from Best Buy. No estimated date; just a note that my order will be canceled if they can’t/won’t fulfill it by Dec. 23rd.
The last time I had this happen with Best Buy, they wound up canceling my order for something that was in-stock and had been for a good, long while. As soon as I got the cancellation email about something they just couldn’t possibly fulfill despite having numerous copies handy, I immediately placed a new order and got it a few days later. So stupid and pointless.
I preordered this a year and a half ago, when I still had Gamers Club Unlocked. So if they cancel, I’ll lose out on that 20% discount and the $10 preorder incentive, which...y’know, good for Best Buy, less so for me.

I got the same email but if you log into the site it's for the free steelbook. My game shipped, the delay was only on the steelbook. So double check yours.

Here's the first hour from the theRadBrad:
I'm personally going to wait for a sale and play some of the games I bought on Black Friday. They should occupy me until March.

Or is this game an 80s nostalgia wave like Stranger Things?

Looking more like I need to fire up the last Deus Ex game in order to get a good dose of what this game is trying to accomplish.

I mean, obviously other people were able to get out of the room or the reviews would in fact be 0/10.
Everything I've seen so far suggests skipping it if you have a base PS4/Xbox One. It looks like it works passably on the One X and PS4 Pro.
Apparently it looks best on the Xbox One Series X (@ 30 fps) but I guess both the PS5 and Series X have a "performance mode" for higher framerates (~ 60 fps) - eventually the PS5 should get the same "Quality" mode toggle the Xbox Series X has.

I have decided to wait. Fix the bugs and get the next gen version.

The only bug I've encountered so far on PC is seeing 2 of the exact same guy on a crowded street. I have graphics settings maxed with ray tracing on Ultra (using DLSS Quality) and am getting about 70 fps average @ 1440p. The lighting looks absolutely incredible with ray tracing, it really is quite something. I was in a nightclub last night that was just insane with the lighting and shadows.
Been messing around quite a bit taking my time... just now got to the intro of Keanu. I'm also trying to really role play this one a bit and drive a bit more normal going from point A to B, not flooring it everywhere taking down light poles and smashing other cars on my way.

Picked up the PS4 version today and am considering holding off until i get a PS5. The game is fine, but the textures and graphics are not wowing me. I know it will be a far better experience on a next gen. Played about an hour past the character creation and training sections. Environment seems nicely designed and sure its gonna be a great game. Didnt encounter any bugs, but very early days.

I played for about an hour and I’m not impressed. I mean I wasn’t sold on AC Valhalla at first either, so hopefully that’ll change. But here’s my complaints:
1. no idea what’s going on. What am I picking up? What is it used for? Spray paint? Cards? Dark chocolate?
2. the text size is way way way way too small. Even moved to the maximum setting. Hopefully a patch fixes this.
3. I didn’t see any bugs. Except for the fact I found a shotgun and I appeared to be holding an invisible one when I equipped it. Which would have been fine if it actually fired bullets. Also, a guy I was supposed to attack in the tutorial just laid down and let me beat on him. Literally. Oh and I seem to walk forward without pressing up so that’s fun.
4. the game is just dark and ugly. Again, I’m literally an hour in. If that. The first mission. Maybe it gets brighter or more colorful. But I’m playing on a 65 inch OLED so...
5. no idea what perks do and how to use or equip them. The game does a shitty job of telling you how things work.
6. Voice acting so far is kind of blah.
If I had to rate it so far I’d say 4/10. Such a letdown. I’m really hoping it gets better.

Saw that same glitch with women and breasts. I also heard a reviewer complain that the game is absolutely littered with dildos to where it's not even funny. I think I know where all that crunch time went, and it certainly wasn't to bug fixes.
