$10 is exactly the right price for this. Ordered.

My order says the game will be ready on Aug 21st, but the steelbook line item says "We'll email you when it's ready for pickup".

Ok, this game is definitely worth $10 even with the bugs.

Ok mine changed to that now. I don't really care about the steelbook, so if I don't get it, oh well.

I went in on this as well. It'll sit unopened on the shelf until the PS5 upgrade later this year, and that's okay.

The new 1.30 patch went live and it was 40GB! I started a second playthrough, but this time as a Street Kid. My first playthrough was as a CORPO and loved it.

My copy was supposed to be ready for pickup today, but it's still not there. Can't complain, but a little disappointed.

My order was ready a day early and the steelbook was ready as well. Picked them both up.

My BB has dozens of steel books. I think it just depends on the store.

Round with a hole in the middle. Has more resale value than a digital copy.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

How could they have such different versions on each console and like you play on either one and get something, but also give up something else up.

This game is schizo. 30 FPS on Xbox and 60 on PS5. Much more liveliness and NPCs on Xbox. Why couldn’t they just make same game or is it specs on the consoles? And if spec issue why framerate better on PS5 and if get better FPS, why not have other, better things too,

What the hell are these patches for if not making things better? And the wait times on PS5, my goodness, nearly 50secs compared to Xbox’s 17 something? I would kill myself. It’s almost as much as Control before optimize. I’m really getting itch to play Control again and play optimized, see if fast loads make big difference. Wish I could have waited, but loved too much. Maybe I can play it different somehow? I know you can be invincible, but is there another option I could choose to change gameplay s little or just play on hard, if it has modes anyway.

Will optimization of Cyberpunk fix all the badness on both consoles and give greater game or better game, since I know some of you loved despite all bugs and both will be equal and a better experience?

I guess if haven’t started, probably best to wait, huh? It’s not like I don’t have a fucking backlog. But, after Darksiders, might want an OW sci-fi wonderland.

Looks like my copy is ready but not the steelbook.. NBD if I never get it. Looking forward to eventually playing this. May wait until the next gen upgrade though. Not sure at this point.

Played some more yesterday and the game is smoother than before. Just leveling up again and whatnot. I had forgotten most of the gameplay mechanics.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

I started playing this the other day. I'm not sure what to think about it. I'm not a huge sandbox video game guy, so maybe that's why it isn't drawing me in. It just all seems very generic graphics-wise. The story is sort of cool though, so far. I may give it some more time just to see if it appeals to me anymore. There is also so much customization of weapons and so forth it almost feels overwhelming.

Is there any way to play this game in it's original broken state? I ask because eventually this game is going to be like 10 bucks and I would love to play it in that state.

Put your system offline when you put the game in so it doesn't download any updates.

There weren't really any funny glitches to behold, like playing launch version of No Man's Sky. On PC/PS5 it just crashed all the time.

Best Buy had it for $10 last month (read up a few posts) for the console disc copies. I haven't played it yet, but I imagine that's the no-patched version out of the box.

Yeah, there is no way I'll remember to disconnect before playing but maybe I'll try to. I'll never forget the videos people were uploading when it first released.

The cross generational patch 1.5 is live. It's 50gb.

The patch is around 50GB for each platform, and if you’re playing on PS5 you’ll have to manually select the new PS5 version and reinstall the game fully to get the latest improvements. You may even need to move your game save manually too, as PS5 players are currently playing the PS4 version of the game.

Same. I'm now downloading the PS5 version using my PS4 disc. 95gb/55gb dl. At least the servers are fast today.

what should the total file be? i saw initially it was 102 GB, then when i uninstalled and reinstalled with new patch, total of only 63ish GB. that doesn't make sense if this is a large patch. means game was only in teens in GB?

something must be wrong with my game. Xbox wouldn’t be that much smaller. By 40GB? No. How can I reinstall as if I never had?

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

It was listed in the store as 94gb but was only a 55gb download and is 56gb installed. Seems right.
