Oh, I figured out how to start side quests and gigs. I have to use the Maps for it. Hell, don't think I ever used the map at all when i was plowing through Act I. I had also forgot that you could carjack people.

So it’s safe to say don’t play on base One or PS4, correct? Won’t get much out of it?

My friend said he played on both and it looked and played just fine on One. The only difference he told me was load times better on X, obviously. I need something new to play since I squeezed all I could out of Control and now in a quandary...

Oh, and I also raised the stakes on those knuckleheads to $2000 and won easily. I knocked one of them down with one hit, I think. It felt like one hit, but could have been the charged up hit that deals more damage.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Iím going to go ahead and put this one aside for a while. This games got some real issues that need to be addressed.

I played a few more hours today (6 total for the game so far) and itís been a pretty unenjoyable experience from start to finish.

Surprisingly, on my hardware, the game didnít look or run half bad. It wasnít great but also not even close to as bad as I thought it would.

But it sure isnít a lot of fun to play right now.

Iíll definitely revisit after it gets a few major patches, or I land a 30 series card, whichever is first.

Found a free set of Legendary Mantis Blades while out Cyberpsycho hunting

Almost spent $25,000 on them at the Ripper Doc.

I'm going to install it for my daughter on our base PS4 and let her play it. I want to see if it is truly that bad. I'm playing on the PS5 and like it more and more. Overwhelmed with all of the crap you can collect and options in the game. However, I find the game fun and intriguing.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Been grinding away on side missions and whatnot leveling up, etc. I paid Vik his money and paid Rogue her 15K to sort of advance the second Act. I also discovered a bunch of other folks that want me to do gigs, but seems like Regina is the only one throwing me work. I guess I have to stay in those specific areas where the contacts originate from in order to get from them. I finished Tarot car mission and that was fun, but don't think the payoff was that much worth it, although it looks nice at the pad.

I've done two of the runaway taxis missions for Delmain. There's one of those taxis that went rogue and hacked into some citizens and they mobbed me up since I'm relatively weak in level. I'm only a Level 10 I think.

Well, I found the dildo shop. Kind of crazy. I stood straight up quickly and tried hard not to laugh. Had to hurry my son out of the room when he happened to come in there.

The thing that bothers me is a lot of this game just seems generic. I feel like I’m driving in a game from the early 2000’s. The majority of the people don’t talk to you in anything but forgettable one liners. The shooting is mediocre.

More folks will give you work as you travel farther outside the city and undiscovered areas as well.

I can't remember if leveling up your Street Cred opens up more Side Missions as well. I believe my Street Cred is at Level 30 at the moment and I have a ton of Side Missions to do that don't come from Regina or anyone you meet early in the game.

I'm at level 12 and my street cred is like 15 or so. I did notice that taking side gigs that rated "danger: high" and "danger: very high" - I have no shot in winning since I'm not strong enough. Some of those have characters that kill you with one shot. I figure I just have to grind some more and just build up my character.

I have not done any random NCPD missions either since the first one in Act 1 with the downstairs neighbor. Maybe I should get friendly with the police?

I'm currently at Level 21 & Street Cred 30+ and I still am running into Side Missions that are filled with Bullet Sponges that kill me in a few hits, even from afar. The Enemy AI can get frustrating from time to time.

I've been doing a lot of Side Missions & Gigs just to pick up money to buy more upgrades, or have increased opportunities to loot.

I haven't done any NCPD Missions other than the one you mentioned but have been doing all the short "Assault In Progress" that pop up from them whenever I'm riding around the city.

I haven't picked up the game yet, but I saw this review on Reddit. What is the opinion of the people here on the above? Mostly accurate? Mostly bullshit?

The gane does have its problem and lifeless citizens, but the story and the city are really enthralling. I haven't had a game call me back to my console like this one in a long time. I had four hard crashes on my PS5 with it yesterday, but even that couldn't cause me to put the controller down and walk away.

Sounds like people came for Witcher in the future and got Saints Row V instead.

I'm hoping the story picks up at some point. I'm over 8 hours in and still haven't seen the title screen. I have like 20+ side missions already available though.

Also, it has crashed my PS5 4 times so far.

"Ask for a refund and don't play our game" is... a choice.

The fact that they didn't show any footage of the game of last gen consoles is shady as fuck. They knew damn well the game was unplayable yet still released it to get that holiday revenue. I hope they're flooded with refund requests.
