That's why I'm holding off on Witcher 3 till I get a 4k TV and xbox Scarlett. I bet there'll be a re-release of that game and cyberpunk for next gen.

Yeah, I really need to start on Witcher 3 before this comes out. I don't really want to wait much longer.

Not surprised one bit....considering the hype and what little we've seen, this game has a lot in it and a lot going on so between the "Polishing" and getting the "Bugs Out"...sort of expected....but September release is basically right there with PS5 and Xbox Series X...one has to wonder if be better to wait even more and take advantage of the new hardware.

re: Cyberpunk 2077 (11/19/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Rumour: Cyberpunk 2077 Was delayed Because It Runs Badly On PS4 and Xbox One.....
https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2020...4_and_xbox_one

I would be surprised this rumour is true. The game is very intensive and even in the past back in March 2018 in this article, they said this....https://www.onlysp.com/cyberpunk-2077-rumor-e3-no-multiplayer/

In fact, the director implied that no current consoles will be strong enough to run the game, so Cyberpunk may find itself as the catalyst for the next generation of technology:

“Technology-wise, Cyberpunk is very advanced. Our technology is ready to interface with future generations. The game is developed in such a way that it can use very powerful future equipment, but I cannot tell you more beyond that today, as no future generation of consoles has been announced.”

Since I'm still on a launch Xbox One (even came with the Kinect), maybe this will make me upgrade at launch to the new Xbox since I skipped the One X.

Wow, that's crazy. If true, then looks like it will be the first game I buy for the PS5.

re: Cyberpunk 2077 (11/19/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Well...to add to the speculation on Cyberpunk Runs Badly On PS4 and Xbox One....this story out today from ID Software saying that Doom Eternal is pushing the PS4 to it's limit.....if that's the case...and no dig at Doom...Cyberpunk has a lot going on with all the NPC's and stuff flowing thru in the city so one can say then, if Doom Eternal is pushing the PS4 to it's limit, then Cyberpunk doesn't stand a chance unless you get some graphical downgrade.... https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2020...e_to_its_limit

They both look cool but not together. They look like two separate promotions.

If that was a Series X, I might consider it. I can't imagine too many folks buying a custom X like that later this year, though.

re: Cyberpunk 2077 (11/19/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Featuring a cybernetic design, glowing elements, bright panels and color shift effects, the Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition console captures the vibrant grit and technical enhancements of Night City and includes a 1TB hard drive. In addition to a full digital download of Cyberpunk 2077 (available when game releases on September 17, 2020) and the Xbox Wireless Controller – Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition, we’ll be unveiling other surprises that come packed with this bundle soon. Be sure to keep an eye out for future details as this will be the final Xbox One X limited edition console to ever be released, and only 45,000 units will be available in select markets.

Available as part of the Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Bundle later this year and for purchase separately beginning today, the Xbox Wireless Controller – Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition ($74.99 USD), features a half natural and half cyber-enhancement design inspired by the breathtaking character, Johnny Silverhand. This Xbox Wireless Controller will help immerse you in a future where technology is the key to survival. The new controller is compatible with the Xbox One family of devices and includes a 3.5mm stereo headset jack and Bluetooth technology for gaming on Windows 10 PCs, tablets, laptops, and mobile devices.

To complete your mercenary arsenal, we’re also excited to announce a few other special and limited-edition, battle-worn Cyberpunk 2077 gaming accessories.

If you want to keep your controller fully juiced in style, also available is the Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Xbox Pro Charging Stand. Equipped with cybernetic enhancements, the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Pro Charging Stand is designed to perfectly match the Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Controller. Officially licensed and manufactured with the same high quality and color material as the controller, the Xbox Pro Charging Stand is a premium, high-performance, seamless charging experience. The magnetic contact systems ensures a perfect and secure charge every time. Each Xbox Pro Charging Stand comes with a premium charging stand, battery cover, rechargeable battery and 6-foot power cord. The Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Pro Charging Stand is available today for $49.99 USD at select retailers in the United States and Canada, including Microsoft Store, near you and online.

You can also keep your game arsenal within reach and ready to play with the Seagate Game Drive for Xbox: Cyberpunk 2077 Special Edition in 2TB and 5TB capacity options. Tagged with the futuristic, unparalleled look and feel of the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, this game drive is the perfect storage complement to the Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Bundle. Seagate game drives run on the same hard drive firmware as Xbox consoles for seamless gameplay, and consoles auto-detect drives to guide you through fast, easy install. You can pre-order the Seagate 2TB Game Drive for Xbox: Cyberpunk Special Edition worldwide today for $89.99 USD at Microsoft Store and other select retailers and the 5TB variation for $149.99 USD at Seagate.com. The headset features rock-solid, lossless 2.4GHz wireless with ultra-low latency for Xbox and PC, a detachable ClearCast noise-canceling microphone for natural-sounding clarity, and a steel-reinforced headband for a perfect fit and lasting durability. You can pre-order the extremely limited Arctis 1 Wireless for Xbox Johnny Silverhand Edition today for $109.99 USD or pick one up June 2020. Perfect. This means it won't have to sit on the shelf waiting for the series X to come out so I can play the enhanced version.

I applaud developers for delaying to minimize bugs and enhance overall game play. A game of this magnitude has to be a chore to test. Plus, this should mean the day one patch should only be a couple gig instead of 5 or 6 gig right?😜

I wonder if the plan about the full next-gen enhancements have changed. Those weren't supposed to come until 2021.
