Cool. I sold my PS3 version because it kept freezing on me. I'll definitely pick up the U version and hopefully that won't have the same problem.

You probably won't notice a huge improvement in graphics. Maybe the frame rate is a little better? (at least on the PS4 version ). But to me it's worth $10 to play in on a next gen system. Hell, even if it's just for the resale value.

I read somewhere that the load times are considerably shorter on the next gen versions, but I can't recall where I saw that. I only played through PS4, so don't have a great point of comparison, but they did seem lighter than when I played through previous Lego titles on 360.

I had the same problem with the 360 version. It's the first Lego game I kicked out of the system without getting 100%.

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

I already have it on the Wii U, and didn't have freezing problems that I can recall. But then I didn't play it extensively.

Amazon matched TRU for the XB1 for $29.99. Still waiting on the PS4 version now...

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

If they lower the price on the PS4 version I would totally get that. But looking into the PS4 version, it seems that, except for it being in 1080p, it's pretty much the same game. It's still only 30 frame per second on the PS4. I can't believe they couldn't bump it up to 60 fps, considering it's not pushing any more polygons than the PS3 version is.

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

Didn't the 360/PS3 versions have some stuttering/frame rate issues as well? I thought someone mentioned that they didn't notice those issues on the next gen versions. I could be wrong though, so you may want to double check.

Toys R Us has the PS4 and Xbox One versions for $29.99, and the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U versions for $19.99.

Amazon pricematched the PS4 and Xbox One price, but they haven't pricematched the other versions.

The only versions on sale for $29.99 anywhere, as far as I know, are the Xbox One and PS4 releases.

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

No point in starting a new thread, but there's a new Lego game for all systems based on the upcoming Lego Movie. Is the game supposed to be any good? A quick movie tie-in? I haven't heard anything about it.

Not sure, but I'm interested as well. The movie is also getting great reviews (98% w/ 41 reviews so far)

GameStop just announced Mexican Emmett as their preorder bonus, waiting to see what everyone else offers.

I purchased it sight unseen using GCU from Best Buy. It shipped today but I'm saving it for my son's birthday in March.

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

I saw some footage from the Lego Movie game, and it looked like a PS2 title. I hope it's not as bad as that.

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

Quite a few positive reviews of the Lego Movie game, but there appear to still be the same Lego game glitches that previous titles have: http://business.financialpost.com/20..._lsa=867a-78cd

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

Since there are now Lego Simpsons, I want a Lego Simpsons video game - with the game made by the people behind the Lego games, and obviously with the TV voice actors. Better still, a Lego Futurama game! Yes, they could make a non-Lego version of these properties, but those usually suck.

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

I kinda liked the last open-world styled Simpsons game...

Tempted by the lego movie game, but I don't know if I should go with the WiiU for off system play, or just one of the next gen systems so I don't miss out on any DLC (if there is any)

edited to add: this point may be moot. I don't see a Bestbuy in the area that has the WiiU version in stock (the others are in stock), reportedly not every store got their shipment of the minifigs that come free with the game, and the next gen versions apparently don't automatically get the GCU discount taken off.

Yup, the two stores near me didn't get the minifigs in. My local walmart didn't even put the damn game out...

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

Kinda' suspicious that there aren't any reviews of the Lego Movie game on any of the major gaming sites. That's usually the sign of a rushed, shoddy game...

Re: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

one of the guys at Kotaku said he just got his copy today. as for it being rushed, i don't see how that isn't possible. in one of those articles i linked above, it said they've released like 6 games the past 2 years.
