EA Sports announced today that legendary golfer Arnold Palmer will appear alongside Tiger Woods on the cover of “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14.”

Palmer, who last appeared in the “Tiger” series in the 2005 and '06 versions of the game, will be joined by golfers Keegan Bradley, Bud Cauley, Stacy Lewis and Lexi Thompson as playable characters.

It should be interesting to see how Palmer is incorporated into the gameplay and if any additional legends will be announced in the near future.

I passed on getting '13 but I think that unless this ends up being a huge hunk of shit I'll end up getting it. Up till last year I bought this game each year and it would provide more hours of entertainment than any other game or series.

With that being said I really despise preorder bonuses.

It's irritating when courses that were part of the game in previous years become DLC. With the ridiculous freezing issues that went on for months in last year's game, I'm really reluctant to pick this up this year. Unless I read reviews saying what a new, amazing experience it is, I feel like it might make more sense to just buy DLC courses for this year's game. New courses are usually the only reason to buy a new version anyway ( for me at least).

I understand it's live weather but damn it's dark in the demo. Also, who are those golfers on the leaderboards? I watch golf and other than Tiger on the PGA and Stacy Lewis on the LPGA, I hadn't heard of any of them.

The Legends part seems cool.

Edit- Lexi Thompson was in the demo not Lewis.

After reading the impressions at the Operation Sports thread, there's no chance I'll be picking this up on release day. It sounds like most changes are for the worse. With it coming out the same day as Bioshock, there's no way I could even talk myself into this one.

Demo is really dumbed down. I tried it with the Kinect and you can't hit a bad shot the way it's set by default.

Have you tried the different gameplay options? It starts with amateur and the hardest is simulation which is a total butt kicker.
