An odd computer problem....
 

Wasn't quite sure which forum to put this in, I bought the Command and Conquer: The First Decade DVD recently, and for a while, in spite of having Vista, it played largely without incident. i even tried to download the "unoffical patch" which could of course be the source of my problems now, though I think I've since deleted it. In any case, when install it again (and in attempting to fix the problem, I've installed it and uninstalled it several times), I can play everything else with no problem, but for some peculiar reason, the subset of the Yuri's Revenge expansion pack plays, but it won't play with sound. I called Westwood about it, and they were very generous and gave me a coupon my dumb ass hasn't used, but they were at a loss to figure out the problem. Naturally, every PC runs differently, so there's probably no cut and dry answers, but I figured I'd ask, just spitballing. Thanks to any suggestions.
