That looks pretty sweet. Especially the Tactical Camera part. It's like Diablo meets Brother in Arms.

Doesn't co-op kind of defeat the purpose of playing through an RPG?

How so? It's just a separate multiplayer mode anyway.

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

I'll have to look at the game more closely and see how this 4-plyr coop will work and the extent of it. I know the trailers for the game itself looked good but I'm already committed to Assassins Creed Unity. I saw where they're saying "expect close to 200 hrs" to complete the game and that was before the coop was announced. It does look good..

Confirmed: #DAI resolution is 1080p on PS4, and 900p on Xbox One. We maximized the current potential of each platform.

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

Good ol ESRB.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/10/...n-is-hilarious

The description then goes on to discuss Inquisition's more gory sections, including combat.

"Violent sequences are often highlighted by cries of pain, gurgling/gushing sounds, and large blood-splatter effects; blood remains on the ground in several environments."

The rating summary ends by taking a crack at explaining how some of the sexual encounters work.

"The game includes some sexual material: a female character briefly depicted in front of a man's torso (fellatio is implied); characters depicted topless or with exposed buttocks while lying in bed or after sex; some dialogue referencing sex/sexuality (e.g., “'I will bring myself sexual pleasure later, while thinking about this with great respect'” and “The way your t*ts bounce when I pin your arms and take you on the side of the bed…”)."

The Keep went live today but it doesn't actually import anything. I don't think I'll mess with it, I don't remember most of what happened.

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

Reviews are out for this today and they're pretty much all in the 8-10 range. Lots of mentions of GOTY consideration, comparisons to Skyrim in both size and scope, etc. I'm officially hyped.

I don't have time right now to do the usual review roundup with scores and links, but Kotaku's write-up is especially of interest to anyone looking at this game. The reviewer didn't feel that his first 85 hours (!) with the game was thorough enough to do a final review yet, so instead he has posted a detailed list of impressions that I highly recommend:

Re: Dragon Age III: Inquisition

I was actually looking around for reviews for Assassin Creed:Unity but saw several for DA: Inquisition...

Gamespot - 9.5
IGN - 10
Gameinformer - 9.5

...hope everyon enjoys it. If we weren't in for Far Cry 4 next week and still in for AC:Unity I would've grabbed this in a minute. The game looks stunning...

Damn it, I wanted to wait on this game because I have so many others to play at the moment but the excellent reviews are going to make it tough.

Same! Even though I'm still in to Destiny. Best Buy's GCU plus the $10 bonus reward money is hard to pass up.

IGN didn't give it a 10. They gave it an 8.8

This one doesn't actually have the $10 bonus, though I'll still be picking it up.
