Steam Greenlight - Vote which games get on Steam.
Steam has just launched Greenlight, which lets developers list their games in the hopes of getting them on Steam. Steam users can then review the games and upvote ones that they'd like to see on Steam. Steam then will add the more popular titles.

This is big new for indie developers, which have previously encountered issues with getting Steam to notice their games.

Re: Steam Greenlight - Vote which games get on Steam.
Greenlight has been massively successful in terms of getting game submissions, perhaps too much so. Having to deal with a large number of joke, pirate, or offensive submissions, Valve has decided to implement a $100 fee (which is donated to the chartiy Child's Play) as a requirement before a developer can post a submission.
Here's an article critical of the $100 fee.
