Has anyone heard any buzz about this game? It looks pretty sick. I love anything that looks like a Hong Kong action movie.

Some of the voice talent on this is pretty impressive.

I am getting this Tuesday instead of Darksiders 2....I am just in the mood for a game like this. 14 hours is short for this type of game, but I would guess the other side missions and stuff would add a lot to that....

Yeah this one was not on my radar at all but I am more than ready for a new open world game that's less cartoonish than Saints Row. This will scratch the itch until GTA5. Unfortunately I've been waiting for Darksiders 2 so I don't know which one I want to start first.

It got a 7.75 in the latest Game Informer. I think these are solid enough for me to warrant a purchase. I will pick it up later today if my Gamestop got any non-preorder copies in.

I wanna get this, but probably not until it's first price-drop - but by then (probably by October), there will be like a billion new games out - so maybe I'll just buy this now, since there's not much out there to play yet. [sorry, just thinking out loud, or rather thinking out typing]

so far I am enjoying myself but some small problems I have seen so far..

Chases are just like LA Noire, in that they want you to be on the edge of your seat ...just outside catching the person till the last second, when in fact the chases are scripted, and you will never catch them until you actually get to the part the game wants you to get to. This has the opposite effect on me, and takes away any tension I might have trying to catch the person/objective.

Your character feels a bit loose...you move around in the world sort of floating a bit, with jerky changes in directions. It is not real bad, but you just don't feel grounded.

Combat is ok, but it is so much less than Batman it is not even funny. I only compare it to Batman, because all the previews seemed to point to it. Too many QTE built into the combat for my taste. It actually can get a little frustrating.

You gain xp multiple ways, but one is not doing damage. The problem is in a chase, you have to damage the other car to stop it...which lowers your police xp....3 solid hits of other items in the game removes all your xp for that mission. That is bullshit. I am sure they balance it out with missions that you will not do damage, but I don't like seeing my xp gone in seconds just by playing the game the way it was suppose to be played...
