The Ultimate "What systems are you getting?" poll (from 2006; don't get excited)
Well, there's at least 20 threads on this topic all over the place (HD Talk?) but not one with a poll to summarize all your feelings and show all of us what you plan on getting.

I already have a 360 and can almost guarantee I will buy a Wii if the price is right ($249 or less). I'd like to own a PS3 but $599 is a pretty hefty price. I may wait a few months to get it, whether or not the price drops.
So my answer is all three.

Just the Wii for me. Have all 3 this gen, played the PS2 a lot early on but not much the past couple years. X-box largely gathered dust.
Wii has the first party games that are pretty much all I enjoy playing anymore (with some notable exceptions) and has the potential for some innovative new types of games that may rekindle my interest.

Wii is a solid lock, always had been.
I haven't got a 360 because I was waiting on PS3 info. Now that I have that info, I'm leaning heavily towards the 360 as a 2nd system. As of right now, I feel no rush to get one because there's not a game I just must have and I don't have an HDTV for that upgrade either. There's a chance that the PS3 will come down in price AND have a couple must have games for me (DQ9, KH3) that would tip the scales back. I'm just going to have to wait it out until some exclusive games hit one of them before I make up my mind.
End of 2007? The way things look, just a Wii by then.

Wii and 360 look like the ultimate 1, 2 punch. Don't think I will get the 360 right away, but getting both of those for almost the same cost as a single PS3 seems a no brainer. The PS3 has shown me nothing to justify costing $200 more than the Xbox360.
The Wii is for sure though and I'm about 70% on the 360. The PS3 will have games I want, but price wise its a long way away from a purchase.

360 is my favorite system because it has the genres I like most (FPS and action games). I would like to get a PS3 because it has some exclusives I am interested in, but $600 is way too much for me. If I didn't have to pay bills or rent then I would get a PS3. I haven't been into Nintendo since the NES/SNES days, so I am not interested in the Wii at all.

Wii at launch. Looks like a lot of fun and I love quirky crap. I would get along with the Japanese fanbase just fine. I am more excited than I was at the Gamecube launch for this. The Gamecube launch was very boring. I've only played about 5 gamecube games in it's entire lifespan.
PS3 most likely at launch. But, the sad part is I am more interested in it for the Blu-ray to use with my HDTV than I am in the games. At least at launch. A Kingdom Hearts 3 would have swayed me immediately. I know I am too demanding seeing as Kingdom Hearts 2 just came out. But, this system will have titles I want eventually. But, once again. That price is a killer.
I used to own an X-Box 360, but sold it to someone I knew at Christmas for a killer premium. Haven't gotten around to picking up another. Probably will wait till first price drop as I am still waiting on certain titles. X-Box is great and the best choice for those who like online gaming, but I really am not good enough to enjoy it personally.
I have existed solely on DS for many months. But, I haven't been gaming at all lately.

Have a 360, will be getting a Wii at launch if I can find one. I will get a ps3 a few years after launch if it doesnt flop (not likely i know) and has enough games to warrent the purchase.

I will adventually have all three. I am probably going to buy the Wii and 360 at the same time if the 360 drops it's price. I'll do the wait and see game on the PS3 but will buy it when the price is right.

Wii and PS3... I still don't even have an X-Box, much less a 360... I do have about 20 games for the X-Box, though. I might get a used X-Box if the price drops quite a bit.

Based on the "By 2007" question I picked Xbox 360 and Wii. Wii is a definite, and I'm pretty damn sure that a price drop and Blue Dragon will be good enough for me to jump in with Microsoft again (and I'm praying they get off their asses concerning BC by then). I'm pretty safe from the PS3 until Kingdom Hearts III comes out, and since that team is already making the sequel to Final Fantasy XIII that's going to be a LONG time from now.

I had to vote I'm not sure yet. The Wii is for sure. I'd like to get one of the other consoles, but both have prohibitive factors they're going to have to overcome for me to get one.
If the 360 ever gets around to fixing its backwards compability, I'll pick one up for sure, as I never owned an X-box and there are quite a few games I'd like to check out. If not, it's going to have to drop to $300 and come out with some games that get me excited before I'll buy one.
PS3 priced itself right out my consideration, a shame considering there were quite a few PS2 games that I loved and I was somewhat excited for it up until the E3 conference. If the price drops to $300 - $400 in a couple years, I might be able to justify picking one up. Otherwise, I guess I'll just cherish my Shadow of Colossus, Ratchet & Clanks, and Katamaris and sit Sony out this round.
I'm really hoping something sells me on the 360 or Sony does a massive re-evaluation of its pricing strategy. While I do value gameplay over graphics, this generation of games was a determining factor in my choice to pick up a HDTV last winter and it would be nice to have something that takes advantage of it.

It depends. I also have a 360. I have not owned a Nentendo since NES, do not know if that will change or not it depends on games and price. The price is keeping me from getting the PS3. If no killer PS3 only games are available I may skip til it is cheaper. If Blueray seems to be the early leader I could jump on the PS3 earlier than I expect.

I voted "Not sure yet"
I have a 360.. Most likely will be getting a Wii... Possibly a PS3 for Final Fantasy XII and Kingdom Hearts 3. But it won't be at launch, if I even do. I'll be waiting for the price cuts on the system before buying.

I voted Wii only. I will get one at launch. I hope Sony comes out with a PSthree in a few years. Thats when I will probably get one of those.
This is assuming I dont win the lottery.

I waited 6 months to get a 360, and only because I won the money to pay for it playing poker. I will have a Wii at launch, and I will more than likely own a PS3 before it is all said and done, there is no way that I will spend $600 on it though, not even if I win that much playing poker.

Wii is a definate as it always has been. I don't rule out that I'll eventually own a 360 but Playstation 3 will not find it's way into my home no matter what.

I will eventually get a PS3, but probably not until '08, after some better games come out and the price drops.

Wii only, and even that will depend on more in depth reviews of the games.
I haven't bought a console anywhere near launch since the original PS, but the Wii may change that.
PS3 is way way outside what I'm willing to pay for a console. Perhaps somewhere down the road when it's about $200 with a bunch of greatest hits titles.
360 is just outside what I'm willing to spend and has some other things holding me back (mainly games that interest me). If I were still into sports games that didn't have Mario in the title, I'd probably get one...but Halo alone just isn't enough to do it.
