Operation Flashpoint: Red River MP Co-Op.
 

I know this game is almost a year old but I did a search and found no thread about the actual game.

I just bought this on Amazon tonight for $13 and change and will be getting it Friday.

Do any of you guys have this and if so does anyone want to get some Co-Op done?

This games screams Ghost Recon Co-Op missions to me and that is awesome. For $13 it will help me wait on the new GR.

I heard the game play is much better with human teammates and I'm not sure if there is a big online community for this game.

Also did anyone buy the DLC Big Valley I think its called?

Well 83 Views and no comments... My fears were correct. No one plays this anymore. Oh well I'll have to buy 3 copies as gifts for my friends to play.

I had not heard of this game before, or thought it was another CoD knock off. I might have to pick it up for $10 and try it. I don't like MW or Battlefields type FPS, but a tactical shooter is my game - love Ghost Recon and Rainbow6.

I'm always looking around for co-op games and I have you down Jackal on my friends list...Left4Dead

read a review and it sounded fairly decent with most of the "Bad" around some glitches, bugs and stupid AI. But the reviews did mention playing with three others solved that issue fast. Not a easy game and not short either. I was looking at getting something like Resident Evil:5 for two player co-op. I'm wrapping up Earth Defense Force:2. Let me know how this game appeals to you and anything at that price is good.


I have to correct myself. I read the review for "Red Dragon" and not the red River. In any case both games scored about the same...7.5-8 of 10. And both had good stuff to say about the co-op. It's the long runs that get you. Something like riding all over the range in Red Dead Redemption except you are running. Visuals look good and again it's doesn't seem like a standard run & shoot war game.

Played a little last night at really liked it. It started out slow but the game lets you get your feet wet litle by little. The first game is called Dragon Rising the 2nd one... The one that I have is Red River.

Most of the combat is realistic you have gun fights from distances and not just running around like Rambo. Rambo gets you killed.

I bought if off the Amazon Marketplace for $13 using prime.

BTW K&A if you get Red River I'll get Resident Evil 5 if you like and we can have different style games for the days we wanna hit something different.

well I might go ahead and get both then. haven't bought but one game in the last three months and that Was Earth Defense Force 2 which has been a blast to play. Just a shame no-one is in co-op around to play with.

I can can grab both RE5 and OF:Red River for under $30 which to me is a good deal. I'll do the order tonight sometime. Anyone else in for Red River?

sorry I missed out on this..I played the shit out of this game back when it came out with my friends. The first few missions take a while to get going, but once they do the game is a lot of fun...

i didn't get a chance to order the Operation Flashpoint last night but will today. I think I'll hold off on RE:5 though. I got a message last night that two friends are getting RE:Racoon City so I'll end up with that. But Flashpoint will get ordered today (Amazon) and be here by the weekend.

Great gaming tonight K&A. 3 Hrs and have way through the game on Normal.

Cusm unless you are opposed to it I think we should wait until K&A gets Red River so we can all start together???

That is no problem, I am still playing Kingdom of Amalur. I had to redo my character last night after I accidently reset him on Sunday night, or I would have jumped on it. Just hit me up when you all have it. I need to get the basics down anyway.

Sorry but I too was getting a bit tired. Two night in a row of up after 12 with about 4.5 hrs of sleep didn't cut it. I'll try again tonight between 7:30-8 central.
