Thanks for the post, Jay. The Dev bundle is really solid at the $1 and BTA levels, and fortunately I didn't already own any of them.

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Groupees have a few bundles that might be of interest to retro gaming fans, especially Commodore fans.
RETURN strikes back https://groupees.com/return3 $1.99 minimum gets you:
All the games are recent homebrew designed for the C64, although they can be run on a PC using an emulator like VICE: http://vice-emu.sourceforge.net/ Remute's Retrofuturism Flashback Bundle https://groupees.com/remute15 For $1.25 Minimum You Get
This one is interesting primarily because of Amiga Forever, which is an Amiga emulator with the Workbench 1.3 ROM included, and normally $9.99 for the Value Edition. It come packed with 25 Amiga games pre-installed (although I can't find a list). |

BundleStarts Dollar Mega Bundle
https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundl...ar-mega-bundle Pay $1 for:
28 games total, although that includes 6 different Mahjong solitaire games, some board games, and some knock-offs of other games. Still, not bad for $1. BundleStars Power Up Bundle: https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundle/power-up-bundle
The Cally's Caves games look fun, and have good reviews on Steam. |
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
^ Their new Spectre bundle has a PixelJam game, those are always good.

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Humble Yogscast Jingle Jam 2016
https://www.humblebundle.com/yogscast-jingle-jam A bit like a Christmas Calendar, new games are added to the $30 level every day this month. Pay $5 or more to get:
Update 1/1: Some of the final titles were DLC for games not included or free on their own, so I marked them as "(game not included)". The good news is Battlerite is set to become free once it leaves Early Access. Update 12/18: Some items are now sold out. If you buy the bundle now, you won't get the items marked SOLD OUT. If you bought before 12/18, you should get all items. Update 12/16: The limit has now been increased to the first 75,000 purchases getting keys for all the games. http://www.codenameentertainment.com...st_id=435#blog I've included the dates the games were added to the bundle. It runs until the end of the month, but some of the games are apparently limited to 50,000 keys, so they've already sold half out. Once they've hit 50,000 sold, you'll only get the games that they have "unlimited" keys for. https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/c...games/dapw2v3/ |
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
This latest Groupees has a $0 level, where you can get a "pre-order" for the game Transhuman for free:
https://groupees.com/remutexmas Apparently it's a retro-styled game in the vein of Robotron 2084 & Smash TV. Also, this IndieGala Friday bundle has some interesting Retro titles. https://www.indiegala.com/friday Pay $1 or more for:
Dino Eggs: Rebirth is a remake of a 1983 AppleII/C64 game, and includes a "classic" mode. https://blogjob.com/oneangrygamer/20...to-pc-and-mac/ Cosmic Cavern 3671 is a remake of a BASIC game published in the July 1980 issue of I/O Magazine in Japan. The gameplay is a precursor to Dig Dug. http://blog.hardcoregaming101.net/20...-computer.html Merger 3D is a modern game made in the style of a Wolfenstein 3D shooter. reviews aren't that good though: https://killscreen.com/articles/merg...90s-shareware/ Also, I updated into on the Yogcast Jingle Jam bundle in my previous post. |
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
...And it's happened, the yogcast bundle has started running out of some keys. New purchases won't get the sold out titles, but anyone who bought it prior to today should get every key.
I've updated my post concerning the bundle: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/video-game-...l#post12962090 |

The Humble GameDev Software Bundle
https://www.humblebundle.com/game-de...oftware-bundle Pay $1 or more for
Even if you're not a developer, getting 1 year of 1Password Families for $10 could be a good deal, since it's normally $4.99 per month. |
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Not really appropriate for this thread I guess, but just saw it, so if you're willing to deal with Origin, they have the complete (?) Command & Conquer bundle for $4.99 today.

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
The Humble Assassin's Creed Bundle
https://www.humblebundle.com/assassins-creed-bundle All games activate on uPlay for Windows. Pay $1 or more for
The Assassin's Creed series is hard to keep track of, especially with its numbering system only applying to some games, but it looks like this bundle includes all the Assassin's Creed games released for Windows up through Assassin's Creed III: Liberation (2012), except for Assassin's Creed: Revelations for some reason. Then it skips some games and includes Unity (2014), plus the later side-scrolling "Chronicles" games (2015 & 2016). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin's_Creed |

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
I missed or skipped the bundles that some of these games were in for whatever reason, but I think I'll do the BTA tier as both Victor Vran and Shadowrun: Hong Kong are on my wishlist.
|
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Missed a few of them (or their higher tiers) as well. In for BTA for now, but considering Homeworld as I haven't played a similar game in awhile. Is it worth the extra $6.50?
