Humble Bundle has a special Star Wars game bundle for the next 12 hours:

All of the games are on Steam, and none of the GOG exclusives. |
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
HOnestly that is a great bundle, plus they will throw in more games. the BTA average is almost at the 12$.
|
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
I will probably end up buying the few I'll really play at a GOG sale someday, already bought one of them, but I threw them $12 for the charity.

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Humble Bundle has added 3 games to the BTA tier of their Star Wars bundle:
https://www.humblebundle.com/ The three new games are:
So the revised list is... Pay what you want ($1 min Steam) for:
So you now get the complete "Jedi Knight" series by buying the BTA tier. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wa...night_(series) |
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
So for $12 you get everything in the $99.99 Star Wars Collection 2014 except Jedi Knight : Mysteries of the Sith and that crappy Clone Wars game.
Too good a deal to pass up. Amazingly I only already had 1 of those 12 games in my Steam Library. |
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Of course none of the X-Wing/Tie Fighter games are included. Damn it.

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
This looks like it might be a decent deal: 8 issues of Kill Screen and two steam codes for $15. Is that a good mag?

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Anyone want to split the current Humble Bundle weekly with me? It's all co-op games; $10 for one bundle, or $17 for two, and $30 for four.

Humble Mobile Bundle 12 includes Monument Valley in the BTA tier, which is currently cheaper than buying just Monument Valley from one of the app stores ($4).

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Due to the recent news with Desura & Indie Royale, I decided to spend the weekend downloading DRM-free copies of the games on that site. While going through My Collection, I noticed that clicking on "Game Keys" revealed a number of Steam Keys that I never activated, games that got on Steam after the bundle came out and the keys were added later.
Also, I cross checked my Desura list with my Steam list, and if Desura listed it as being available on Steam, but I didn't have it in my library, and Desura didn't have a Steam key available, I'd check with where I bought the game from, likely another bundle site like Groupees, and find the Steam Key there. All-in-all, I added about 100 games to Steam this way. http://www.desura.com/collection https://groupees.com/purchases http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indie_Royale http://igbwiki.com/wiki/Indie_Game_Bundle_Wiki |

BundleStars is having a "Bundle Fest" right now, putting up a lot of bundles at once.
While maybe not technically "indie," these two bundles of older games caught my eye. Retro Legends Bundle $2.49: http://www.bundlestars.com/all-bundl...egends-bundle/
Sleuth Bundle $2.99: http://www.bundlestars.com/all-bundles/sleuth-bundle/

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Humble Bundle is introducing a new subscription-based bundle service.
https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly Introducing Humble Monthly $12/month for highly curated game bundles. What is Humble Monthly? A subscription to a new bundle of games every month. 5% of all proceeds go to each month's selected charity. All games are yours to keep! Sign up before November 6th to immediately unlock Legend of Grimrock 2. https://support.humblebundle.com/hc/...cles/210560328 So it looks like all but one game is basically a "surprise," you won't know what games you're getting each month. |
Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Don't think that's for me. Yeah, $12/month isn't much, but I have a feeling I'd end up with a bunch of duplicates. Plus, there's the chance it'll come with games I'm not interested in.
Also a bummer that you can't change the charity percentage. Could be good though for those with smaller Steam libraries looking to add to their collections. |

Re: Ultimate Indie Bundle Thread - Humble, Royale, Gala, etc.
Groupees Deus Ex Machina
https://groupees.com/deusexmachina Pay what you want ($2 min) for:
Deus Ex Machina is interesting since it was originally released in 1985 http://www.gamesradar.com/the-top-7-...-games/?page=4 As much a multimedia art project as a game, Deus Ex Machina is all about the sensory experience, with only limited player input. What makes it awesome though, is the ingenius way it achieves that on the Spectrum, a machine that can barely manage multiple colours, let alone multiple media. The experience is spread over two tapes; one to load the game and the other to play the soundtrack on a stereo. Both contain a countdown which allows the player to synch up the 8-bit visuals with the studio-produced audio in order to create an overall experience we’d never seen in a video game format before its release. With a professional synth soundtrack and the most English voice cast one could ever hope to collect, in the shape of flamboyant Doctor Who Jon Pertwee, camp comedian Frankie Howerd and New Wave musician Ian Dury, Deus Ex Machina is beyond strange, but utterly compulsive with it. |
