True, but they do negate a lot of what is usually going on around any given person in battle (all the grenades and explosives) which they (or you) may have just run past before getting in each others sight.

If they have those specific perks equipped they will be "stronger" than you at the at that point. I don't play much in the way of free-for-all death match (I prefer team games) but I can't think of a time where I'm actively running around the map where I'm not dodging the various grenades and tacticals and picking up some damage that lowers my odds of surviving my next confrontation.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

Finally gave Zombies a run last night.

I like that there are a couple different options and maps this time out. The Farm House is a back to basics map great for learning on and perfect for those that were intimidated by the last half dozen maps' complexity.

Don't recall the name of the other one, but the city streets with all the fire was interesting. Definitely more to it than the Farm. This one is definitely for the experienced zombie players.

To those complaining about emptying clips into people, maybe it's the new pick ten system?? One of my classes (I call it heavy) I have one weapon and loaded up with double perks. I mean, combine flak jacket, toughness, tactical mask , dexterity along with other perks can make you tough to take down.
Had one match in particular where I had 40 + kills with the sniper rifle, 6 ninja plants, 5 ninja defuses, both teams were playing the objectives and trying to really win. I went into overtime and ended up in a draw. No spawn trapping no camping. It was straight good gameplay. Multiple guys were hootin and hollerin at how epic the match was. And we went and did it again.

MW3 was a good game and did some good things but it was a grind to play. Dome and Hardhat amd Seatown were the only orginal maps that I would look forward to. Heck when we played we could barely remember the map names. In other games (Black Ops 1 and MW2 - and I remember all the maps for MW1) we could call out a map and everyone knew exactly what we were talking about. Most of the map packs were meh.The last map pack was the best IMHO

Black Ops 2 is fun. The new prestige system and the 10 point customization is awesome. Sniping is fun again, Shotguns are fun. Knife camoflauge is fun for pete's sake. I love Nuketown, Hijacked, Slums, Standoff, Raid and Drone. What sucks is that I haven't even touched Zombies and The single player campaign.

BTW - I unlocked the Gold camo for the DSR 50.

Several of them. I should have just quit after the first one because it never gets better.

Tried out Gun Game (part of the party games list) and realized I suck at most of the weapons!!

I just could not get past the standard shotgun Still, it was pretty fun even when you got knocked back a gun if you were taken out via melee.

Has anyone used or can recommend a mouse and keyboard adapter. I am having a difficult time playing the COD games because of how much I played on the PC before getting an xbox.

I found this but am unsure if the price is worth it for $80

If you're looking to rank up and you're halfway decent, you can get a ton of points per round playing Hardpoint. I have a habit of chucking in flash bangs followed by C4's. I'm averaging nearly 4,000 per round.

I toss emp grenades. Usually get a a couple hundred points each time from disabling bouncing betties and the like. Love taking out sentry guns too. This mixes really well with the engineer perk.

Shock charge for me. I usually run with FMJs on one of my sniper classes - Lots of wallbangs and it destroys sentrys /guardians/AGRs in 2-3 shots.

That's pretty sweet, Treyarch is good at adding in bonus content for their players.

EMP grenades take any of those down in 1.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

I'm running around with 3 attachments on my assault rifle. First match I had target finder, fore grip and quick mags and went 19-5. Second match I swapped out quick mags for suppressor and went 11-11. Not sure if I just didn't play as well or if the suppressor limited my success. I try to stay off the radar as much as possible so I was hoping the suppressor would be a good add.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

I went through and tweaked my classes last night as I finally unlocked Scavenger and decided to start using C4.

I keep my "Wild One" as my main class: A maxed out FAL with the Target Finder, FMJ and Fore Grip, no second weapon and Perk 1 and 2 both doubled (I vary the perks).

I need to try the EMP in my "Heavy" class as that is one I favor for game types that result in lots of kills and lots scorestreak deployments (Hard Point, Demolition, Headquarters) as I hate getting taken out well placed sentry gun.

It works best with Engineer so that you can spot the equipment through walls, etc.

I frigging hate gun #3 on gun game (the enforcer). That thing is a piece of garbage and takes forever to reload. It should have been gun #1 IMO.

Gun Game seems backwards to me. The guns should decrease in power as you progress, whereas now, they mostly increase in power (other than the final knife). It makes it pretty much impossible to come from very far behind when the leaders have far more powerful guns.

this seems like such a simple yet brilliant idea..it makes me wonder why they have not done it yet...

Black Hat is awesomely douchey. Combine it with engineer and you can claim enemy traps though walls. MWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
