I was up big against Georgia Tech last night when the computer decided to start guessing all my plays. I ran one of my go-to plays 3 times, all resulted in pick 6's for GT. I went from shutting down everything they tried to them averaging 7-8 yards per carry. I eventually held on to win by less than one score.

This also means that I am in position to play in the ACC championship again, i'm coming for you flhype.

i returned the opening kick last night and then went up 42-0 in 2nd quarter. They had 0 first downs. Then the computer love fest started to happen. On the next drive, I was called for 3 roughing the passer penalties and a face mask. They also probably broke about 10 tackles on that drive. They ending up scoring. On the next kick off, I run it back for another touchdown, only to get called back for a clipping penalty after I was already past everyone. At this point, I was jacked. Next play was a 59 yard touchdown pass. I was up 49-7 at halftime. In the second half, they continued to break tackles and I got called for 1 or 2 more roughing the passer calls, but I ended up winning 70-23.

I just played my game. It looks like Cruz and flhype need to recruit and then we are good...

Syracuse pissed me off...we started out and they sucked big time. Then, all of a sudden, the were unstopable for 2 drives, making it 21-14.
I ended up winning 56-14 i think but still i was pissed off.

So I played my game against Bama the other night. Rivalry game in Tuscaloosa and my controller is shaking like crazy. They take the opening drive and score a field goal and then we trade three and outs for the fist quarter. I figure it is gonna be a defensive struggle.

First play of the second quarter I throw a pick six to a linebacker and I am down 0-10. On my next drive I chip away underneath and I am able to pound out a touchdwon. On Alabama's next drive the running back runs to the outside, breaks two sure tackles for a loss and then scoots upfield and breaks 4 more tackles on his way to an 80 yard TD. (computer love) . I am down 7-17 midway throught the 2nd quarter and the crowd is going nuts. And then all hell breaks loose. The Honey Badger runs back the ensuing kickoff for a TD to close the gap to 14-17. After a 3 and out by Bama I see that they are showing blitz. I audible out and throw a pass over the top to my slot reciever and he runs in for a nice long score to give me the lead 21-17. On Alabama's next possession I blitz my corners and the honey badger sacks the QB and causes a fumble which my other corner picks up and runs in for a TD and expands the lead to 28-17. After another punt by Albama I get a nice 35 yard return and and then grind out another TD as time expires to make the score 35-17. in 3 and a half minutes I went from being down 10 to being up by 18.

The second half becomes a struggle because no matter how much I try the running back breaks tackles that are for a loss into 3-5 yard gains. Final score is 49-24 but Bama is really tough to keep from running the ball.

Played my game last night. If not for a really really bad quarter, it wasn't so bad. He really frustrated the hell out of me, but, I managed to hold him scoreless in the second half (of course, he did the same to me.). I threw something like 8 or 9 passes total, with 2 connecting for 8 yards, and he picked me off 4 or 5 times, one of them was a TAINT. On his opening drive I had him stopped but he used his 4th down go for it and then ended up with a TD. I think I'll be able to give him a different game in the Big 12 Championship, provided he doesn't figure out my D by then. My silver lining was that I was able to successfully rush on him and my D proved tough in the 2nd half.

He texted me last week saying he had lost his secret weapon for the season. He was taking Deanthony Johnson (a WR ) and lining him up as his running back. He was worried his running game was not going to be nearly as effective. I told him thats waht he gets for being a cheeser.

He really pissed me off at the beginning of the game. So much so that for one 3rd down, in the red zone I brought out a punt rush. Only time I've ever done it.

Yes, surprisingly it did. He was already rushing on that play and didn't try to audible out of it. It went from 3rd and 1 to 4th and 3.

In related news, Denard Robinson is out for the rest of the season. So now my two best players are gone. No starting QB. No starting RB.

...dumb question.... is there a way to use different players in different formations? I have one HB that's almost a FB and one HB that's fast, but can't take much of a hit. Can I use specific formations to run outside the tackle? My primary HB can't make the corner so I never go outside. but if I could sub my backup in, I could expand my playbook.... and I might need to now that my offense has been castrated.

you can use formation subs, or you can sub in your backups on the fly by using the right stick in the play selection screen.

With the people that we've all talked about having join, that would put us at 11, so we should have a spot for a 12th. Cruz is the commish.

We may have one opening once we are done with this season. We are currently in Week 12 and have been knocking the weeks out at a rate of 2 weeks per real time week. I'll be sending invites out to the newbies so that they can take over in the offseason. I've got one guy grabbing Georgia for sure and I'm waiting to hear what teams the other 2 who are interested in joining want (I'd say Flip's guy has 1st choice then Yamush's). If you are interested you'd have 3rd choice.

FYI for the offseason we try and knock it out in one night. Last time we all logged into Skype and it worked pretty good (Would still be easier if EA would bring back voice chat in the Dynasty lobby)
