Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

The greatest thing about all of the speculated rumors is that they NEVER (no matter how good or bad they sound) address the little things that make GTA so great....I like that personally because you just never know the overall feel (even with gameplay footage, trailers, etc..) until you sit down and play it. It's still one of, if not the only game to be like that.

at Rockstar fans (including myself) getting pissed and restless over GTA V news....that's the only reason why those screens were released.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I've analyzed the new screens and it appears as though the game will include bicycles and jet planes. Also: cars.

Also, I apologize if those screen caps are too large...my monitor at work is 24" and easy on the eyes.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Well anyway....there were more screens released today and instead of posting all screen caps (there are even 3 empty slots on the following link so there will probably be even more this week) here's is the link to all of them:

http://www.rockstargames.com/V/

Also, they MAY even have a trailer with a release date this Friday.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Tony Scott should've directed this game. Then we would've had the ability to molest and kill children

I just hope they don't screw around this time and release this day-in-date for PC.

It's starting to look like a tad bit of over-kill. Looks great, don't get me wrong but how many f'ing things can you do that aren't mission related? I don't want to live my live via GTA V... I hated the food thing and lifting weights of San Andreas.

You actually like the missions in GTA? The side stuff has always been my favorite part of the series since it jumped to 3D.

The missions are all the same: Go here, protect this guy, & kill this guy.

I hated eating and lifting weights as well, which is why I never got through San Andreas and is my least favorite GTA.

I hate the 'chore' type things, like eating/weights in San Andreas and the nagging dates/friendship stuff in GTA4 but otherwise I love the non-mission things. My only issue is that I don't want to be nagged by the game or have negative repercussions for skipping the secondary stuff. I want to do it on my own terms. Honestly, those annoying chores never got in the way of me doing missions... they got in the way of me f--king around. And that's ten times worse.

FWIW the missions this time out are suppose to be a "bold new direction" per the Houser boys themselves.

It's not the game's fault you're OCD. Out of my nearly 80 hours of playing San Andreas, I don't think I spent more than 8 minutes eating and lifting weights. And I still got to do and see everything the game had to offer, which was a shit-ton. And it happens to be my favorite GTA, still

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I enjoy the side stuff, but mainly I do whatever counts towards completion. I don't spend much time just "playing around," if that's what's meant by side stuff.

I don't think those things being annoying to people is a result of OCD I don't remember, but I recall eating occasionally was pretty normal in the game.

I call double posting Obsessive Compulsive. Can't wait for this to come out. Hopefully Rockstar drops the bomb on us and has this in our hands in the next few months.

Didn't working out actually have a benefit though? I had crazy stamina from that if I remember correctly.
