What games do you want to see remastered?
seems to be the growing trend of older games getting the remastered or HD treatment or just plain ported with Beyond Good and Evil, now Crysis to name a couple.
mine have been answered already with Resident Evil 4 and Halo: Combat Evolved. can't wait for those.
i think i would also love to see a remastering of Eternal Darkness for Gamecube as I always thought that was a nice looking game even with the limitations of the GC hardware and was an incredible gaming experience as well.
so what games would you love to see come to Xbox 360, XBLA, PS3, PSN, etc. with a spiffy port or remastering or HD treatment?

I'd rebuy Grand Theft Auto: Vice City if they remastered it. It was the last of the series that I really enjoyed. Also I wasn't aware that Resident Evil 4 is coming out remastered but I'll pick that up for sure.

Crysis isn't getting the remastered HD treatment. It already is capable of running at 1080p on a powerful enough computer. It won't come anywhere close to that on the current consoles. It probably won't even be 720p on consoles. It will probably be 640p.

Limitations? The Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2. But yeah, I'd love a remaster since a sequel doesn't seem likely.

I'd love to see Day of the Tentacle get spiffed up the way the Monkey Island games have been on the iPad.

Actually, I don't think any of the so-called remasters are all that impressive. They're basically just upscaled versions of the old games encoded to work on current consoles.
I'd rather see full on remakes using newer game engines.

DMC hd remakes were just reviewed by the esrb so it's definitely happening.

The Monkey Island special editions weren't just on ipad. They were on PC as well, and I think XBLA and PSN. Steam has them bundled together for $15.
Anyway I would love to see all of the old SCUMM engine games redone in similar fashion, especially Grim Fandango.

This was mentioned in the Human Revolution thread but it bears repeating that the original Deus Ex and Invisible War running on the Human Revolution engine would be great.

I would love that. Also the old Thief series redone in a similar style would be awesome. I believe Eidos is currently working on Thief 4.
