dungeon Siege III

Just picked this up.
The first 1-2 hours were really slow and boring, but now i am getting into it and find it to pretty fun.

Re: dungeon Siege III

I am seriously thinking about picking this up. I am just not sure if I will have enough other people to play co-op with. I am currently in the middle of borderlands and I don't really want to do another loot-fest game w/o others.

Re: dungeon Siege III

I tried the demo of this, and was not impressed. I'm not sure why they called it Dungeon Siege when it really has nothing in common with the first two games. Reviews are descent though, maybe the full game is better than the demo.

Re: dungeon Siege III

I hate to hear this is not getting good ratings, I was hoping it was going to be good. Guess I will have to wait for D3.

Re: dungeon Siege III

Does it have split screen co-op or is it online only?

Re: dungeon Siege III

This will probably be a title I will pick up when it hits the $20 range. Hopefully others will chime in that like it (which means I might pick it up sooner ).

I used to play the crap out of the PC versions back in the day. Fun games. I'll probably wait on this one, too.

Re: dungeon Siege III

Has anyone played Sacred 2? I know it is older, but it is another one compared to the Diablo series and I was wondering if it is worth a play not that it is $20.

Re: dungeon Siege III

One thing to note about co-op for this game. You can only play in one player's game at a time. The other player is a "guest" and doesn't level up their character while they play.

Re: dungeon Siege III

I played Sacred 2 for a while on PS3. It was fun at first but didn't hold my attention enough to finish. If you're looking for a dungeon crawler, it's not bad for $20 or less.

I thought that you could have co-op characters and single player characters. So, you can use the same co-op character in co-op games to get more experience, but couldn't use that same character in the single player campaign. Also, you have to use a different character class than the other co-op players. Is this not right?

I thought they were going to change the co-op to fix that horrible set up. And not being able to play the same class? It is like the tried to make an inferior game.

I could be wrong. That's how it was in the demo, anyway.

If they go the fable route for co-op, I'll wait til it hits the bargin bin. If the go more borderlands, I'll pick it up in the next couple of weeks.

Re: dungeon Siege III

I played this game today at Best Buy and was not impressed at all. It's unfortunate as I was really looking forward to getting my hands on a good co-op dungeon crawler.

I read the joystick and IGN reviews and they both confirmed what you said.
