Might get a Wii - how would I connect it to my monitor?
I want to get a Wii but the only issue is what I'd play it on. All I've got is a 23" 1080p LCD for my computer, an Acer H233H. It only has an HDMI, DVI and a VGA input in the back, and I've heard some not so great things about how the Wii looks on 1080p monitors. What would I use to connect a Wii to this thing? Looking online I can't find anything at Radioshack, EBGames or Best Buy that would do it.

The Wii outputs at 480p only. No HD games of any sort, so just be aware of that. So you can connect through HDMI or VGA, and it'll look the same. Or you can wait for the Wii 2 later when that comes out and hope it's 1080p as rumored. But if those are your only inputs, maybe try getting a HDMI switch, then buy a Nintendo cable with an HDMI output. But overall, the picture is only okay when using an HD monitor. And if you have a PS3 or XBox 360, it looks like a huge step backwards.

Does anyone make a Wii cable w/ HDMI output? I thought it was just component and composite?

Yeah, I'd wait for the Wii 2/HD, though I don't know when that launches in Norway nor do I know how much it'll cost (the Wii is now what, $149?)
There is a Wii VGA cable you could use, not sure how Audio works in that situation but it exists. http://www.amazon.com/Wii-PS3-VGA-HD.../dp/B0015MISAG
