Burnout Crash

Looks like the ESRB received some info on Burnout Crash.

http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/06/es...obster-attack/

"From a top-down perspective," the content description reads, "players initiate crashes by driving 'cartoony' vehicles (e.g., cars, trucks, vans, buses) into busy intersections; multiple crashes trigger score multipliers and rack up large 'bills' of property damage." The description also reveals levels that urge players to destroy police cars before they are able to arrest you, and other levels in which you have to avoid UFOs, tornadoes and "lobster monsters."

Re: Burnout Crash

Sounds like a potential XBLA/PSN title rather than full on release.

Re: Burnout Crash

It sounds like the Crash mode from Burnout Revenge which I absolutely loved.

Re: Burnout Crash

Rather than go cartoony, I wish they would go the other way and put passengers in the vehicles.

Re: Burnout Crash

And every level should include at least one school bus. They can call it Burnout: Sweet Hereafter Edition.

Re: Burnout Crash

Oops. Sorry I accidentally deleted my previous post while trying to touch up the grammer.

I had posted that rather than cartoony, I wanted Burnout to go in completely the opposite direction and feature dismembered bodies, spilled entrails, blood-soaked pavement and distraught family members wailing in grief.

Groucho's post makes more sense in proper context.

Kelsey doesn't like being touched up.

I hope Criterion isn't even spending time developing this.

Re: Burnout Crash

Zero news so far.

http://e3feed.com/?search=burnout

And the new EA website Origin.com doesn't even have it listed.

Re: Burnout Crash

WTF

Seriously how hard is it to take the Paradise engine and add crash courses like those seen in the earlier entries in the series. /facepalm

They know what the fans want, why not give it to them instead of this shit? Are they TRYING to run the burnout name into the ground?

Re: Burnout Crash

That looks fucking horrible.

All I want is Burnout Paradise 2. Actually, they don't even need to make a 2nd game. Just keep releasing new DLC like Big Surf Island.

I think Paradise was probably the last real Burnout game.

Re: Burnout Crash

Well technically it's crash mode, not sure if I can get used to the perspective though.

I can already tell the announcer is going to get annoying quick. And why the fuck does it sound like one of those ticket games at the arcade. I feel like I'm in a gameworks.
