Re: Crysis 2 Demo (xbox 360)
i started this up last night. wow this game looks fantastic on my new 50 inch plasma. I was blown away by the visuals. My only issue right now is -- I have alot of trouble seeing the enemies. I find myself staring at the map in the corner of the screen most of the time trying to locate the baddies. Hopefully I will adjust to this.

I didn't get a chance to play anymore last night, but I will see if I need to mess with the tv settings. I think I am the problem instead of the TV though. I may have better luck tonight. Maybe I was just real tired the other night. who knows?

Are you playing on Super Soldier? That's how I started out and got extremely frustrated and had to drop it down.
You keep all your upgrades on the next play-through, so no need to bust your balls the first time out.

I am just playing on the default difficulty. I always start on Normal or Easy. I don't have alot of gaming time nowadays with a 7 month old, so I prefer the story to move along without alot of hiccups. I don't want to replay sections a million times. A game has to be extremely special for me to beat on all difficulty levels.

I really want to play this game. It's been on my "watch for a sale/used copy" list since it was released, but it seems like as time goes by I hear more and more positive things about it, rather than some of the "meh" reactions that greeted its release.

It's easily one of the best first-person-shooters on the market. Not sure how the online community has held up, but the single-player campaign alone is worth the price of admission - it's long, varied and worth re-playing, not to mention the gunplay, controls, AI, and of course the graphics are a cut above the rest - it should actually be getting more praise than it has been.

It is easily the second best game this year so far, behind only Portal 2....

Can you have more than one nano upgrade per slot? (I think there are four slots, one for each button on the controller). I didn't know if that was something they allowed as you progressed through the game or not as I heard people talking about getting better armor and more upgrades.

OK, that’s what I was thinking but I thought there might be a chance that more open up further in the game. Thanks guys.
I think I’m a little more than half way through and so far its pretty kick ass. It started off kind of slow which worried me a bit but picked up an hour or so after that. I’m playing on normal and pretty much killing everything in my way and am planning on playing through again (maybe a little more stealthy) on a second play though down the line. Is anyone still playing the MP on this one?

Re: Crysis 2 Demo (xbox 360)
I rented it from Gamefly and wasn't terribly impressed with the game overall, definitely not enough to buy it for more than about $20. I finished all the single-player stuff, but I might pick it up again eventually to play more MP.

Finished this over the weekend and really had a blast with it. One of the best FPS I’ve played on the 360 so far. The game still felt really glitchy at times. People getting stuck on walls, Sound effects but no other music or anything in the background, invisible weapons, etc. I think I’ll run though it on super solider in a couple months to see if I can be more stealthy this time around since I blasted my way though this time. Still didn’t know WTF was going on with the story, but I think I’ll give the first one a try once it’s up on XBL.

I actually found the super run easier than my first because the game is almost broken when you skip the fights...fully upgraded you can just walk/run past almost anything...lol..I actually had to force myself to stop at times and fight...

Re: Crysis 2 Demo (xbox 360)
Maybe I was playing it wrong, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. The stealth only worked for a very limited amount of time, and I was usually spotted when I came out of it because it seemed like there were always enemies visually covering every possible angle. And after they've spotted you the first time, of course, they can still see you even if you re-stealth, and all the other enemies also know exactly where you are, because that totally makes sense.
Then again, I didn't really enjoy the game much at all and don't get the praise, so I rushed through the second time as fast as possible. To me it played exactly like Call of Duty with aliens, and was instantly forgettable. But I'm glad others seem to enjoy it.
