Yeah, the multiplayer sucks. No sale!

Lame but with the success of this game I'd rather have them knee deep in a next gen sequel.

Re: Tomb Raider (a.k.a. Tomb Raider 9)

That's fine as long as we get a Portal 2-style multiplayer Tomb raiding puzzle mode.

Re: Tomb Raider (a.k.a. Tomb Raider 9)

Unlike most high-profile titles these days, this game's campaign felt like a complete experience out of the box. The story had a very definitive arc from beginning to end, so I'm not sure where DLC would fit in anyway without feeling totally extraneous and unnecessary. I'm personally glad that they're preserving the integrity of the story (and hopefully working on a next-gen sequel).

Agreed. The game does feel complete. I just want more of it.

I just want a giant puzzle tomb with no plot.

That pretty much describes the previous 8 games.

I have no problem with them, but never understood why Madonna was climbing through catacombs.

Thanks for the input on if it is like Uncharted guys. Sounds like when the price drops I will be getting this. With Bioshock next week it would have to wait anyway.

Damn. You are right. I just beat it and that was only halfway home.

Fuck me, this was an awesome game. Definitely better than Uncharted. So far, early yet, but this is my GOTY.

Spoiler:
the part or the tools? if it's the part, you still have a ways to go, maybe 40% more to go. if it's the tools, it's near the end. probably about 80% at that point.

I guess we'll get more of that in Tomb Raider 2.
That was cool but what would've been cooler
Spoiler:
After going through all that wind and debris flying everywhere her pants start tearing apart and we end up with her iconic shorts and dual wielding pistols

I just finished at 65 %. Took 18 hours. Great game. I hope they do a globe trotting adventure for the sequel instead of staying in one location.

I don't think her pants being torn off by wind would have fit with the direction they wanted to take this, to say the least.

Re: Tomb Raider (a.k.a. Tomb Raider 9)

They gave her NICE tits. Not too big, not too small. Looks like about the same size as the actress doing her voice and motion capture, Camilla Luddington.

Finished the game again after renting it again yesterday. Played it for several hours after work yesterday, and for several more during my day off today. The second time wasn't nearly as hard, and I didn't die quite as many times as the first time around, although dying a lot is still inevitable in this game.

I'm having a hard time finding everything there is to be found. I used the map more this time, and really tried to search for things. I did find things I didn't find last time, and even a tomb I hadn't found before, but still only finished at 73%, as opposed to 71% last time. Oh well.

I don't. I think that was part of the charm of this one. It was intimate.

No need for the game to sexualize Lara....we're doing that fine on our own!

With no single player DLC in site, should I sell my copy why it still has some value?

If you have no desire to play multi-player, I would. Looks like you'd get the same price at BB (with their 100% bonus) and Amazon: $36 in trade.
