The last game you completed (Round 1)

Re: The last game you completed (Round 1)
Well not sure if you can count Marvel vs Capcom 3. Completed it with all characters. In the last few weeks i have completed a few games. Mass Effect 2, Lego Harry Potter (100%), Red Faction Guerilla and PixelJunk Shooter. Trying to work my way through all the levels of Pac-man DX and always popping Just Cause 2 in to try and get to 100%. Currently at 99.08% on that one.

It jumps between affectionate borrowing from other sources to downright carbon-copying too much for my personal taste, but I still got a charge out of shooting and time-shifting through the standard house-'o-horrors structure. Felt like a cocktail between Bioshock, Half-Life 2, and the LEGO games, but it lacks the secret ingredient to make it stand on its own. Still, I had a decent time with the brief, extremely familiar experience, since it controls well and the art design folks have a decent head on their shoulders.
As an aside, I really enjoyed the ...

Enslaved. Basically a brisk two-night event, but a great experience that mixes the best of God of War and Prince of Persia with a foliage-coated post-apocalyptic environment. Loved the voice acting and character models (Andy Serkis, obviously, but also Lindsay Shaw as Trip), which really rounded out the whole tone.

Assassin's Creed 2 here. It was good, but got repetitive by the end still, I'll probably wait for Brotherhood to hit $20 to pick it up. A much easier 1000/1000 than the 1st.

Finished Uncharted on Hard and found 50 out of 60 Treasures. Doing mop up for the rest of the treasures and some trophies that I missed, then thinking about doing a Crushing run for the Plat.

Mass Effect 2 (PS3) - Quite amazing despite some flaws, looking forward to part three. And now it's time for Portal 2.

Finally finished Enslaved this morning. Took my time with it playing a few chapters here and there, but it turned out to be a great game overall.

Mass Effect (XBOX), 2nd time through. Mass Effect 2 (XBOX) is next, then Dead Space 2 (XBOX). I'm also trying to finish Portal 2 (PS3) and Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3).

Finally finished God Of War 2!
This was one of those games you feel a sense of accomplishment when you finally reach the end credits. This game was way too long for the genre but i loved every minute of it. It would get a perfect score if they had just shaved off a few hours and there were way too many puzzles that almost felt like they padded out to make it artificially longer. Graphics still hold up quite well. Music added to the immersion that you were playing an epic adventure. I just hope GOW3 improves on things and brings closure to he series.
final score: A-

Re: The last game you completed (Round 1)
I'm going back and playing some games from my backlog, and I just finished Spiderman: Web of Shadows. Played through twice, actually, so I could get the 4 different endings. Blah.
As a side note, it has two THOUSAND collectibles and an associated achievement for getting them. There should be some sort of serious punishment for developers who do this kind of thing.
