Mass Effect 3
Mass Effect 3 officially revealed
As speculated and teased (and accidentally outed), BioWare and EA tonight revealed the next installment in the Mass Effect series: Mass Effect 3. Alongside the official announcement at tonight's Spike VGAs came the first trailer of Shepard and Co. in action. Surprise, surprise -- Earth's burning! The final chapter to BIoWare's trilogy will launch sometime in "holiday 2011." <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0" id="gtembed" width="480" height="392"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /> <param name="movie" value="http://www.gametrailers.com/remote_wrap.php?mid=708363"/> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <embed src="http://www.gametrailers.com/remote_wrap.php?mid=708363" swLiveConnect="true" name="gtembed" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" allowFullScreen="true" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="392"></embed> </object> |

My favorite games of this generation. |
Re: Mass Effect 3
I am so looking forward to this. My only disappointment when I first played Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 was that Mass Effect 3 wasn't already out to complete that marathon first-time playthrough experience.

Re: Mass Effect 3
Reapers attacking the earth? Holy shit!

Re: Mass Effect 3
That trailer has left me with about 49 boners. Can't fucking wait!

Re: Mass Effect 3
Only people living under a rock didn't know this was coming out
Still, too early to get too excited. Yet, it does make me want to run through part two again. |
Re: Mass Effect 3
Never played the first Mass Effect. Loved Mass Effect 2 and have my save file waiting for Mass Effect 3.

Re: Mass Effect 3
First day purchase for me without a doubt. Next to Uncharted, this is my favorite series of this console generation.

Re: Mass Effect 3
When ME2 was about to hit I asked about the game since I didn't have a clue about the series. It was recommended I play the first and I haven't looked back. The only negative I can say is by the time all the characters are in place and their powers full the game is near the end. So you really don't have a chance to go back and try character combos like say in Marvel or other squad base ones.
Cannot wait for this one but after looking at that....we need the Movie version? |
Re: Mass Effect 3
Really looking forward to getting my hands on ME2 and am really glad that ME3 is coming to PS3.

Re: Mass Effect 3
Can't wait. I hear your decisions in ME2 will have an even greater impact on part 3. This will up the replayability for the entire trilogy big time.

Re: Mass Effect 3
Fuck, Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3, and Elder Scrolls V in the same season? Might as well quit my job and take a leave of absence from school.

Actually, the talk was the decisions from ME1 will have larger repercussions in ME3. What was mentioned specifically about ME2 with regards to ME3 is wether or not you "cheated" on your love interest from ME1.

I was afraid PS3 was going to get shafted again. Not being able to play ME (again) and ME2 after my Xbox 360 died was my only regret not resurrecting the system. |

I will not be bullied by Bioware's archaic sense of morality. This is the 2100's, damn it, and I will sleep with, eat out, or just plain shag any species I please! Don't you give me this repercussions bullshit! I'm a goddamned war hero!
