Tony Hawk: Shred...How is it?

Looking to get this for my soon to be 8yr old son. The Wii version with the board. Just wondering if anyone has it and what they think?

I have no idea how good it is (I know the previous version with the board got terrible reviews) but it's the Lightning Deal on Amazon right now for 75 bucks, all platforms.
