I'll probably get the pack as well, though I must admit, with the exception of Bon Jovi, I've never enjoyed any hair metal artist bands and often wondered if any dudes actually went to Poison and Mötley Crüe shows for the music instead of just to hit on drunk girls (not that there's anything wrong with that).

BTW : Big props to my iPad for somehow realizing when I type the band Mötley Crüe, they know enough to add the umlauts and such automatically.

Tons of guys back then that was true. Personally, I do love glam rock...but I was in high school at the peak of it and my voice seems to go along really well with that style of music. So that's my excuse. I never really saw the appeal of scoring with a drunk chic. ;)

80's hair metal is my favorite genre of music.

I am sorely tempted to buy a whole pack for the first time in a long long while. :)

I am getting it.

I just went through the last few months of official DLC and RBN releases and I came up with a ton I haven't picked up yet. I think I'll spend some money this afternoon. Doesn't hurt that MS is giving me back a paltry 5% this month.

That's awesome to see Beer on that list.

I ended up buying 29 songs and spending over 4,000 points last night. Fired it up, had to recalibrate due to a new tv I bought in the meantime, played 2 songs before my brother sent an invite for Portal 2

Outside of Muse that list is fucking terrible. I hate the active RB community.

the only thing worse than that list (excluding GnR), is that those crunchies at HMX actually listen to it

The Facebook Dashboard App is way more sane than that list, but I'd love me some Appetite and Beer!

New Blink 182 is always welcome, but I could think of a ton of better RBF songs other than Beer. Better do a RBF 12 pack just to be safe...and a NOFX 12 pack.

I Like how Angels & Airwaves made it into the top 10!

Looking at that list, and looking at the artists Harmonix likes to put out it's amazing this genre was ever as big as it was.

I think Ska could translate well to RB with the horn parts on keyboard, but I would think that guitar would be boring.

Listen to much ska? This just came out on RBN by an OKC-based ska band that I've seen a few times. Ska always has this quick, up-beat guitar with a fair amount of rocking solos.

Whaka, whaka, whaka, repeat, etc. yeah, I have listened to my fair share of ska (Much more in HS and college than I do now). I think 3rd wave would be much more fun on guitar than traditional ska, but still pretty repetitive. I think Bass, drums and vocals would generally be more fun. I have seen RBF live 4 times and they are a pretty fun band and would be a welcome addition by me.

Yes, yes it is.

I really only listened to this album of theirs...I realized I liked the bass player's vocal stylings (verse of Showdown) better than the main singer, and am now a big fan of his band and new solo project (wearing the shirt today as a matter of fact)
