I saw Soundgarden on March 1990 opening for Voivod and Faith No More. Feels like a lifetime ago.

That would be disappointing. It gives me a thought though. How funny would it be if we got a huge Muse pack with re-records a la Spinal Tap?

You can sit it on top and it'll still work, but I don't know if I should try to thread it back under the plastic edge and glue it in place. If you live near a Kmart, you might be able to pick up a new Limited Edition bundle for $50. I recently picked up a set as a gift for my father in law.

Considering Muse is as good if not better live than on tape, I'm down for anything they want to try with them.

So if Soundgarden isn't Tuesday, I'd love to see some Tesla. They have a new album out next week.

I'd prefer live to re-records (though re-records would be the least likely of the 3 options). I thought I would be down for any Spinal Tap until I heard the re-records.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

The artist URL trick on rockband.com turned up Frankie Goes to Hollywood (so, "Relax", obviously) and Heart (lotsa possibilities there). Of the last batch that were found this way, apparently only EMF hasn't found its way into the game. Maybe "Unbelievable" will be part of Friday's DLC announcement?

I hadn't really thought about this, but we haven't gotten a full album in more than five months, have we? When was the last time there was a gap between albums this long? Ever?

Spinal Tap ≠ MUSE for future reference.

You are right. Muse has never made a song as awesome as Stonehenge or Big Bottom.

I'm currently on vacation, but my wife is taking a nap. I decided to whip up a quick little program that will check RB.com for artist pages based off of a text file. I figure if I can gather up a large enough text file of artists, I can find at least one artist that doesn't have a song in the game yet. Either that, or I can get my IP banned from RB.com.

I was going to say that we have gotten some good big packs since London Calling, but the only I can think of are Ozzy and Fleetwood Mac.

Whew. I was worried for him for a second there. Incendently, did they ever make that work well on the website? I only tried it a few times within the first few weeks of the game's release and it was garbage.

I did that during the last go-around for all the bands on my iPod, but it didn't turn up anything. I mean, I got lots of hits, but they were all for bands that were already announced or had DLC.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

Supposedly, there's a pack coming as well, but no one knows what it is yet (or isn't telling).

Also, does this forum (Video Games) have fucked up formatting for anyone else? Bargains and all of the others I've been to look fine, but this particular one looks like ass since yesterday.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

This came out today on RBN:

Fucking psychopathic drummer. About half of the song is super easy, and the other half would destroy me in like a second.

Does EMF even have three songs?
