I love that themes are on sale. I haven't seen the new dashboard, but doesn't it kind of ruin themes?

Nothing for me from this sale. Own all the Pinball tables (which are totally worth picking up, esp at that price) and not really interested in the rest. Might have jumped on Bejeweled 3 if they had offered that one at half price.

Basically the same, but no more objects behind your Friends, which is sort of what made the Premium Themes "premium". I wouldn't recommend anyone buy any more, since its much less cool without that aspect. But they're still totally functional.

I was thinking of picking up that Tron theme that is for sale but it kinda sucks what you mention above. Have they given any reasoning behind it? Might they fix it in the final version or have they stated that it has definitely changed themes for good?

Nothing official, but I think the Friends appear that way so that you can scroll through and select them more easily using Kinect interface (which is something I never, ever needed -- if I want to play with Friends or send them a message, I'm using a controller at the time). I really miss the BMWs in the Forza 4 Premium Theme -- they're all gone now except for one that I'm standing in front of when I check my own stats.

Actually if you click on friends in the social tab it now shows the special backgrounds, it may be because of tonight's update.

Got the two Pinball FX2 packs (passed on the original pack, 8 tables are enough for me right now) as well as Streets of Rage 2. Unfortunately I only have 800 points to my name right now, hopefully it will be enough for BF/CM. Hrmmm, maybe I'll pick up a card tomorrow at Sam's Club (need to pick up some Cornish Hens since it is just me and the missus this year).

Yup, they're back now, which is nice. The spacing is all wrong, so the game they're playing now partially obscures what they're standing in front of -- now there are five Friends standing in front of three items rather than before when each Friend had his or her own background, but it's at least better than nothing. Still you have to wonder if they could bring the backgrounds back, why couldn't they fix the spacing as well?

I might bite on Daggerdale at 600. I see an update was released for it yesterday, but can't find any reviews on if it fixed the major glitches.

I played Torchlight to death at 800, but I can't get too excited about Daggerdale at 600. When I played the demo it just felt so boring and a real let down for D&D fans or role playing fans in general. I dunno, maybe at 400 I would bite.

Oh, I don't think it will beat Torchlight, having multiplayer is the most appealing aspect.

You should wait until Crimson Alliance goes on sale. I thought it was way better than the Daggerdale demo.

Unless something really cool (and cheap) pops up today or tomorrow, it's just the new DeathSpank for me.

They're sold out online now. I was maybe going to pick one up since my Gold membership expires in a month or so. I won't now since you have to fight the crowds. I'll probably just let my membership lapse since I don't really do any online gaming and haven't taken advantage of enough sales to make it worth it.

That's it? Super underwhelming. The deal on MvC2 is pretty good, I guess, and BG&E is a steal, but everything else is pretty meh.
