I already got the game code from BB. The cashier said she already knew what I was "planning" to do as everyone that worked at that store already pre-ordered for it and then canceled. I might still buy it though.

A PS3 league?

I'd probably be interested in joining.

After playing the demo, I think that that gameplay is a big leap ahead. I don't love the 'Gameflow" playcalling (aka the computer picks the play for you) but you don't have to use it, so no big deal. Preordered.

One thing I don't like about "Gameflow" is how the voice is so enthusiastic. It's like he's giving you a pep talk. I imagine that a real coordinator's voice is much more business-like, similar to an air traffic controller.

Reviews are starting to pop up. Mostly 8s and higher. Mine is already on the way from Amazon but I was this close to canceling it. Just not feeling it this year.

My Amazon copy is on the way also. I was debating of picking it up from TRU and returning my Amazon copy....but not sure if I really want to do that, I suppose I can wait. I have NCAA 11 on the way from Gamefly, so I can sim 4 years and have 4 good draft classes to import into Madden.

Got mine @ midnight thru Gamestop. Had 3 other guys over to play that night. Love this game so far! The graphics are more crisp. The controls are alot smoother, the running game is more fluid. We were all very impressed. This may turn out to be the best game since NFL 2k5. I wasnt at all impressed by the demo (360) so when I played the real game I was wowed.

I also ordered for the first time in years...thanks to Amazon's $20 credit. I figure if it sucks and I don't like it, I'll still be able to get close to $40 for it.

Looks like user reviews are mediocre to low.

I guess I'll be sticking with NCAA again...

Just got Madden during my lunch hour for the PS2 (I'm like a dinosaur aren't I in the gaming world?). I got a Wii also, but I find Madden plays better on the PS2.......now if the Wii Madden supported the classic controller pro, I'd probably have gone that route as my Wii is online, but my PS2 isn't. Its been a few years since I got one, so I'm getting pretty anxious to get this work day over with and get home.

Noticed the Amazon credit expires 9-30, that's the first time I've received Amazon credit with an expiration date. That's a stupid change in policy i was gonna use mine on COD:Black OPS but looks like it'll be Reach instead.

You can pre-order COD on Amazon and you will be ok. All Amazon Promo credits have had expiration for me.

The offensive coordinator is distracting me...he sounds just like Danny McBride.

The game play, especially running is so much better..I know Matt Ryan can't run but jeeze it's like he's stuck in mud. Anyone try a running QB and how well they do?

Amazon messed up my release date delivery so they gave me a $20 promotional certificate and I still got the $20 one that was advertised.

Picked up Madden NFL 11 for the PSP this morning. I'm really enjoying it. The gameplay is pretty much the same. The graphics are better but it still doesn't show many different TD celebrations or have any of the stuff like the teams coming out, half time report, post game, etc. I wish they would show all that stuff on the PSP but I'm enjoying the commentating and it's always nice having a new Madden game to play.

I played the demo and I was able to scamble with Peyton Manning, so it is possible.

Peyton scrambled the shit against me last night in my first online match.

Re: Madden NFL 11 - 08.10.2010 (PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360, iPhone)

I played a couple games and here are my thoughts:

It's way easier than before. I went 2-0 in the games I played, and didn't throw an interception once. Well actually I did, but it was PI so

I like the presentation, they really improved on it.

Too many replays though. I don't need to see them after EVERY play over 5 yards.

The Saints are overpowered, but that's to be expected.

The Extra Point show is kind of cool, but why no recaps of games showing specific footage? It's just a stat recap.

Way easy to run in the game. Not that I am complaining.

Superstar mode sucks again. Talk about bare bones. You create yourself, you take an IQ test that is ridiculously easy, and that seems to be it. From then on, it's just games and training.

Oh and I just wanted to remind you that this post is BROUGHT to you by VERIZON, and this red zone report by OLD SPICE because you smell like a MAN, man.

PS2 Madden doesn't have online play this year anyway. This is probably the last one for the system.

haha! I kinda noticed that too! But the only time I got sacked on play action was when they were blitzing. So with them blitzing and the PA taking more time, i guess it's inevitable.
