I probably screwed myself up though in one way. I created my wife thru the village creator, so naturally I felt compelled to marry her. And now we already have a kid. (I probably said Fuck too loudly when the in-game representation said I'm pregnant, LOL) I have a feeling this will lead to issue later on.

I have been playing this alot the past few days. I think I like it better than Fable II. It seems like Lionhead went back to it's Black and White days for the humor, which is far better than the first two games.
I agree the repairing each house one at a time gets old. You'd think they'd at least tell you more often when houses are 0%.
I also agree the whole "You might want to check out the Sanctuary Shop" line gets old fast, too.
But everything else is just golden.

So I just bought the game today and haven't gotten a chance to play it yet. I'm wondering is there anything like in Mass Effect where if you have a save from Fable II it make any kind of difference in this one? Either way with the girlfriend and room mate out of town this weekend I'm looking forward to geeking out on it big time!

This game does not have any extras for having played Fable II. There are some minor references to it in the story but that's about it.

Only thing that it appears to get from your Fable II save is the gender of that character.
"Your mother..." dialogue versus "Your father...".

I encountered the "mute Jasper" bug about halfway through the game and he hasn't spoken since. I'm sure I'm probably missing some funny lines, but I also feel that it's a blessing in disguise for the reason you mention.

Would any of you guys be interested in free codes for the Channeler sword and Crystal Tattoo set? A friend of mine works at Best Buy and has a bunch of leftover codes that he wants to give away.

I don't have any codes myself right now; he just asked me to gauge the interest here. There's obviously some interest. I think he said he had around a dozen or so codes, so I'll see about getting them from him and then I'll probably just throw them all up here. He's a manager at BB so he's pretty busy right now as you can probably imagine, so it may be a few days.

Re: Fable III -- Oct. 26th, 2010
Well I did get to geek out as promised on this last weekend and the main storyline is extremely short. I managed to plow through the main story line in less than 2 days. The side quests, relationship quests and jobs are plentiful but you figure the 365 days you had to "get ready" wouldn't go by quite as fast as they did. Went through those Royal decisions pretty fast, I definitely turned the orphanage into a whore house and drained the lake
I really didn't dig a lot of the new features in this one, the holding hands thing wasn't really necessary, I hate that you can only interact with 1 person at a time now and that you can't chose the actual expression that you want to use, so there was more than 1 occasion that you would end up having the guy on guy dancing and tickling. I miss the animation that would happen if you didn't let go of the button in time while doing a expression that it would back fire on you like puking while trying to burb or shitting in your pants while doing the fart one, although I admit the fart expression is pretty funny in this one.
I'm going to knock out the rest of the side quests, some achievements and maybe check out the DLC that just came out but I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed that I'm so close to being "done" playing this all together. I still feel it's a good game and had a good time playing it, but thought it was a pretty disappointing follow up to a fantastic Fable II.

Kedrix, nickdawgy, Suprmallet, keit2208, Decker, and rocketsauce: Check your PMs for the codes.
I have several others available. If anyone else wants one, let me know.

I'd like one if it's available. I am getting the game for Christmas [bought for myself on sale on BF].
I know the main storyline for F2 was somewhat short too, but there was enough stuff in between to keep it fun for me. Plus I don't need a sixty hour game anymore.
