I think I've seen this character running around in both games, but I've never managed to catch up with her.

she has long toes...

Back on sale @ Amazon and Best Buy. $29.99 for PC , $39.99 for Xbox360/PS3. Went ahead and bought the PS3 version since it includes the PC version, and I'll just exchange it to Amazon for $28. PC version for $12!

Has anyone actually done this successfully? I am just afraid Amazon will reject the trade in since the Steam code will be used.

Seriously? It's no different then any other redeemable code, why would they care? They aren't going to spend the time checking each and every game to see if codes are redeemed or not.

I have no clue . Just don't want to get burnt :P. I have an even sweeter deal since I have a $10 RZ cert burning a hole in my pocket. 29.99 plus tax - 28.00 = 4 dollar and change Portal 2 :D.

It's a used game. You're not expected to trade it in with any unused codes, just as anyone buying used shouldn't expect to receive a game with an unused code.

Re: Portal 2 PS3/PC/360

I traded portal 2 in at best buy for 30 bucks, but used the pc code right before. No problems at all doing this.

According to the title it's something called "Fanime 2011". So I'm guessing the only girls in the room were the actresses playing Chell.

Re: Portal 2 PS3/PC/360

Well, it clearly took a LONG time for me, but I just finished the single player game. Proud to say I never cheated with guides or walkthroughs though this afternoon a friend did show me how to get rid of the turrets at the end of The Itch chapter that was holding me back. Amazing game wonderful ending (that I somehow managed to avoid getting spoiled).

Along that line, I still don't really get that t- shirt. Is there some inside joke I'm not getting? Why have the turrets with the moon, besides both being in the game?

I'm stuck somewhere in the Itch chapter now. First time I've truly been stumped. I need to pop it back in and try and figure it out.

Any other news on this front? It's been 3 months since it was announced and summer is 1/3 over.

Re: Portal 2 PS3/PC/360

Not the news you're looking for, but I found it, err, interesting. BTW : I tried this set up out at CES. It's light, but wired and not at all intuitive. Inferior to a Move in almost every way, and the Move isn't anything special to begin with. They won't sell two dozen at this price.

Portal 2 DLC Arrives, But You Can’t Have It
By Alec Meer on June 17th, 2011 at 11:34 am.

(Well, not unless you spend $140 on a new controller). This is all a bit odd, and slightly infuriating too. Remember Razer’s Hydra motion controller for PC, and how it was going to have a special version of Portal 2 created for it? Well, that’s happened. The wavy-wandy gamepaddy, PS Move-y er…thing is now being sold via Steam in the US, for the utterly absurd price of $140. $140! You could buy multiple Moves for that. However, it also includes access to 10-level Portal 2 DLC designed specifically for its six-way air-gesturing.

This first expansion pack sounds pretty ambitious, involving as it does Portal rotation and, most excitingly, object rescaling: “Resize custom weighted cubes to harness their size and mass properties to crush turrets, bridge gaps, and solve puzzles in a new and exciting way.”

Whaaat?

Irritatingly, there doesn’t appear to be a way to get hold of this pack (or the controller) in the UK, and apparently most of it is only playable if you have a Hydra. Have any USers or IP fudgers been able to grab it at all?

I don’t doubt, however, that someone will crack open and share those new maps with us. I find it hard to imagine a mouse couldn’t achieve the kind of precision Razer claim Hydra can do, but then I haven’t tried one so I could well be as wrong as Ian McWrong, who was born on the first of Wrong Nineteen-Wrongety-Wrong.

The DLC was apparently developed by ‘Sixense Studios’ rather than Valve, but hell, it’s still the first Portal 2 DLC (other than those robo-hats). I’m quite sure it’s not the aforementioned, Valve-made and free-to-all DLC, though. That would never be released with no song and dance like this.

If you want to buy the Hydra via Steam, this link lets you do it – but you’ll get an error page if you’re not an American.

Also: when did Steam become a hardware store too? (Edit: oh, OK, yonks ago).

Oh, right, I remember reading that stuff last month. I guess I didn't think that was the free DLC they were talking about. At least, I hope not.

Free or not, I need some more Portal!

make sure you find a friend to do coop...one who has not played it because it will ruin the exp....I found the coop to be better than the single player...
