I am almost always disappointed in DLC...

Here we have free dlc that I would have paid for...amazing fun..

took us about 90 minutes to maybe 2 hours...in that range.....9 new levels...new story...new voice work...great ending...

I still wish the puzzles were a bit harder, but lots of fun to do coop...

on another note, how do you get the new free addon through steam? Can't seem to start it in game and I thought it auto-updated it in

If this is the PC version, do you have a folder called portal2_dlc1 under steamapps/common/portal2? The size of the folder should be about 615MB.

Re: Portal 2 PS3/PC/360

I'm obviously behind the times, but I thought I'd resurrect this because I just finished the single-player. Really fun game and very entertaining as well. The voice acting is top notch and I especially love Stephen Merchant in this. I actually started with co-op and the puzzles there are inherently more complex, so the single-player seemed relatively easy by comparison. I can't say I ever really got particularly stumped in single player, but this kind of puzzler is also in my "wheelhouse" compared to just about any other kind of game (shooter, action, etc) where I am astoundingly mediocre. Aside from not having a ton of replay value, this one just about has the total package.

Great game. I never did play the DLC though.

Yes, just MP. My brother and I went through it a few weeks ago finally. It was great to get back to that. Way fun!

I loved this, but have only done the solo-campaign. I'd be down with some MP if anyone wants to.

Same time Half-Life: Episode 3 comes out...

Its funny that the original reason Valve wanted to make Half-Life 3 as episodic content is because it would take them less time to make it as episodes than as a full-fledged sequel. Yet here it is 8 years later and we still don't have episode 3. They could have already made a full-fledged sequel at that rate. I think they just have an aversion to the number 3.

Considering most of the people utilizing the DLC will be on a computer, it makes sense Valve is limiting to the PC and Mac.

Do you own the PS3 version? You already own the PC and Mac version too.

Old thread resurrection round 2...

Along with Darksiders, I just recently got around to playing this game. While it was really fun and highly entertaining, it was WAY too short.

I still have some co-op levels to finish though, so if there's anyone here on PS3 that never finished the co-op and is down for some robot hugs feel free to send a friend request/invite. Or maybe we can plan a specific time if there are any takers...

(where's that weekly rotating game night thread? Might be time for another thread resurrection  )

I intended to get around to this the moment I finished Portal but Saints Row: The Third is like a black hole for my gaming time.

I'm a trophy whore myself. The single player ones are pretty easy, but the co-op ones definitely require good communication with a partner. Plus there's one that requires 3 different friends. Send me an invite if you see me online and we can try to knock some of them out. :)

(If it shows I'm "playing" Netflix or Hulu then that's not me. That means I'm at work and my wife is using my shit)

This game is on my want list. I might even order it today as I need to order something else from amazon.

Edit: Nevermind. The last time i checked amazon it was around 18-20$.. Now it's over 30$. I'll wait until it's back at a reasonable price.

If you're on PS3 it's available in the PlayStation Store for $19.99. It's an 8GB download.
