Anyone going to Origins this year? (analog game convention)
Origins is pretty fun gaming convention in Columbus, Ohio each year. They have a ton of board games, role-playing games, and some video games (mostly those based on board games).
Anyone else going? There are several cool games I'm hoping to get more info about... specifically the Dungeon Twister XBLA game and to see what else is coming from the guy who designed Forbidden Island and Pandemic.
Or am I the only analog gaming nerd here?

You're going to an analog games convention, specifically to get information on a digital conversion of an analog game?

Re: Anyone going to Origins this year? (analog game convention)
We started using it over on the 8-Bit Brigade forums since we primarily played video games and just a few of us did board games. Calling them analog made it easier for those interested (or not interested) to figure out if they had missed a title that might intrigue them.
Either way, anyone in the Columbus area with an interest in gaming in meatspace ought to check out the convention. It is like 60$ admission for 4.5 days. Big vendor hall, art show, trading, selling, and an open gaming area.
I typically pay an extra 16$ and get a pass so I have access to the CABS Board Room (Columbus Area Board Game Society). They have a collection of over 1000 board games on-site and let you check them out from their library, play them as much or little as you like, and return them, for free (if you have the ribbon). Basically it becomes this huge ballroom with generally pretty friendly people explaining games, getting into random games, and socializing. I will basically be in that room for the majority of the 3 days I am going.
It is like Xbox Live.... but people are polite.
