Didn't touch it again until last night. Loaded up, went to the map, it popped two achievements from the previous session (wtf?) and then froze. Not unprecedented, Game Room is notorious for freezing when 2 achs unlock simultaneously. Software issue.

Reset the xbox, got back into the game. Made it halfway through the first level, went into the beverage shop, bought a few things, went into the "Status" screen to see my new stats and it froze.

So, I haven't even seen the 2nd level yet because I haven't played all the way through the first one by myself
Did you try to defrag your drive? Uninstall/reinstall?

Well...it's more like a ying-yang thing. With guys like you and me being so far up on the awesome end, you have to have the counter balance.

Not to sound like a question-asking douchebag, but is it even possible to defrag a 360 hard drive?

It's ok to be a douchebag because he was being one first.

I was sort of serious on your uninstall/reinstall issue. Perhaps it was something to do with the upgrade from demo -> full that made shit all whack?

Re: Scott Pilgrim: The Video Game

Hopefully not. I did the demo, then upgrade thing. I didn't put any time into the game after that, though. so no problems for me so far.

Someone mentioned take-out drinks not being a permanent upgrade. What's the point then? I bought a take-out tea, but couldn't see any way to actually use it. Yes, this is a serious question.

(And I was hopeful on the defrag thing. I thought maybe there was some secret way to do it that I didn't know about.)

If you take them to go then there will be an icon up on your status bar. It's used automatically when needed, like to give you a health boost when you reach 0 etc.

Re: Scott Pilgrim: The Video Game

So, finally figured out how to max my stats thanks to a few of you here, and beat the game. I played as Scott on Supreme Master and ended up unlocking almost every achievement, including the one which requires you to beat the game like 5 times and call in the strikers. Guess it glitched in my favor. Also, never locked up once on me.

Re: Scott Pilgrim: The Video Game

Dammit, no one on my friends list has this game. Just got it tonight and it's pretty cool. Everyone is right though, it is hard as fuck until you upgrade to a full 100 on all stats then it's cake. Went through the last 3 levels with 2 lives lol.

I just played through the first stage as Scott. The game is... ok. The controls are terrible and it feels like you move around in mud.

Not sure how this affects you. There's no online co-op anyway.

And you can buy items to increase your stats, like speed (the stat, not the item). It's just like Dead Rising in the sense that the more you play, the better your character gets for subsequent playthroughs and difficulties.

I hope that's all it is, for me right now it feels more like general sluggish controls and lack of sensitivity rather then just a speed attribute of the character.

Re: Scott Pilgrim: The Video Game

Had my first glich fighting Lucas Lee where I had him and both skateboard guys trapped in the corner and I got the KO but Lee was still alive and kept hoping back and forth on his skateboard and wouldn't go down the ramp. Ugh.

Re: Scott Pilgrim: The Video Game

I bought this a couple of days ago and have put in a few hours. I find my thumbs hurt after a while for some reason. I have been playing on the easiest difficulty and really like the game. I did lose all my lives once, but now am maxed out and paid my late fees, so I don't think that will happen again. For those who are having trouble getting money you can
Spoiler:
Go to Level 5. There is a door right at the begining of the level w/ a bunch of coin blocks. Get all the coins in there and exit to the world map. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Once I maxed out my stats, it was much easier. I beat the Twins in a few seconds w/o taking a hit.

I have only played with Scott so far. If I play with another character, does the late fee reset or will I be able to buy stuff there at the begining?
