Still have it on my functional (for now) PS3, and I still play it on occasion - one of my favorite downloadable indie games - though I'm a sucker for 2D sprite-based beat 'em ups. Wish I could somehow transfer the indie games I have on my PS3 (almost 60 of them) to my PS4 and/or Switch.

I've had a very not-great experience with LRG, but goddamn if I'm not ordering at least the basic set.

edit: I think I'll get the $55 PS4 version (assume it must work with PS5....??) because I want the map of Toronto :lol:

With the deals they have in place with Best Buy and Amazon, it's hard to imagine this not showing up elsewhere eventually. And that's assuming Ubi doesn't have plans of their own as well.

I'm definitely torn on which edition to get. I might wait until further into the open preorder to see what gets announced along the way. LRG usually waits until the last minute (or sometimes after the last minute!) to say if Best Buy's picking up a release. But I'm absolutely getting this somehow. :p

Oh, yeah, they've already said Best Buy will have a limited number of copies. They seem to do that with all of their Switch releases lately (except one, which went to Amazon, I think).

:lol: Nah. It's all rendered art so far. These types of companies don't even start making this stuff for until weeks/months after pre-orders end. Not a knock on them, but it's just how it goes. Don't expect it to ship for up to 6 months, either...

I’ve never had a problem with Limited Run and have ordered from them numerous times in the past.

I think I may grab this for Switch. I feel like it’s a game I’ll enjoy, and my girlfriend likes Scott Pilgrim vs. the World so she may get a kick out of it too.

Those look cool, but honestly this is absolutely the sort of game that I would want a digital copy of instead of physical. I will probably buy a PS4/PS5 digital version at launch and a Switch version at first of what will presumably be many, many Ubisoft digital sales.

Best Buy has the physical versions of the PS4 and Switch editions available now. It looks like they're only available for in-store pickup, but I'm getting my copy for the Switch this weekend, apparently!

No need for a new thread, but there is a new game called Scott Pilgrim EX, coming out on 3/3/26.
Another brawler. Bigger locations. New story. You can play as the Evil Exes this time.
The Game Spot guy didn’t like the new dialog. Thought it was ‘cringy’. But still looks pretty fun. I think it’s overpriced at launch ($27.99), but will probably grab it when it goes on sale.

I’ll play it many months from now when my Limited Run order ships. You can get the physical edition basically anywhere, I think, but LRG has a package including a Bryan Lee O’Malley comic that I think (?) is exclusive, so I ponied up for that. I still listen to the Anamanaguchi soundtrack for the original game all the time and am looking forward to hearing what they’ve cooked up this time.

The original soundtrack is one of the best chiptune albums. I just wish some of those songs were longer.

Well I can't get it anywhere else since it's the Xbox version which only LRG site sold it. And since It's part of a 5 game order and the delay of High On Life 2 physical 'till April, I'm assed out till then. :mad2: on having to wait for that to get my complete order, oh well :(
