I'm willing to wait as I'm in no rush to start. Any ideas on the first patch? It would be nice to get this rolling by the start of the actual season.

I think it's supposed to be near the end of the month. Maybe we could wait until then and just start on April 1st regardless (the regular season starts April 4th).

I'm down for whatever. I never got around to playing GoW I/II, so I'm playing through those before I start on GoW III. Plenty to keep me busy!

Word. Same here. But I always sneak some time for The Show despite whatever else is going on. I don't mind starting before the patch... I also don't mind waiting.

I don't mind waiting either. I need all the practice I can get because I am horrible. I just started a season with the Phillies and got swept by the Nationals in the opening series of the season, including an 11-3 beat down in game 3. The only runs I can score come from home runs. If I don't hit any out, I don't score.

If at least 1 or 2 people suck like I do, then I wouldn't mind joining. Haven't really done much online gaming on the PS3 (most of my buddies have 360's) - do I need to go buy a headset?

I am curious about the headset question as well. I've never gamed online with my PS3, do you guys generally chat over headsets for sports games?

I am looking to start this once the final season opening rosters are released and kick off the league sometime around opening day.
