Any Community watchers play the game? I totally just realized the Human Being mascot looks like the enemies in the game.

i loved playing this game especially the middle. they could of removed the otherworld/combat and maybe improved the game. the combat was the only real drag. loved the characters and talking to zach. a shame though that there was barely any conversations about movies and odd things towards the later part of the game.
i want a team zach t-shirt, they should make that... well something cooler though.

Absolutely! I loved it! The controls do stink, but you get use to them. The characters and story is really what drives the game home for me. In fact I was thinking of playing a second play through since I missed the characters so much. For $20 I think this game is a steal.

Alright, I jumped on the bandwagon. Had a bunch of shit to trade in today so I grabbed this and pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption.

They better not be...
It's still $15.99 at Amazon. How much cheaper are you looking to go?

On a related note, it seems that Ignition Entertainment has switched it's business model and will now be doing smaller, digitally distributed games only. I know a sequel was a pipe dream, but now it's even less likely.

I just finished the prologue.
Weird.
Creepy.
Cool.
Yes, difficult to control, very RE-ish (based on my memories of the first RE). I don't mind third person view, but I wish York took up just a little less screen space than he does.
I think I'm going to start over and play on Easy, though - I don't mind challenge in a game, but I don't want to be frustrated with the controls/camera.

Just started this and it is so damn strange! What is up with the overloud whistling and jazz music, sometimes the characters talk and then sometimes only that annoying beeping sound. I'm kind of enjoying it though.
And at the way the Sheriff's deputy/clerk runs....

I keep playing games long after threads have died, but I can't help but bump this...I finally picked this up....and though I am barely into it, I can already say it is amazing...
Graphics are worst than I thought they would be, and I thought they would be bad....
Controls are bad, but not as bad as I thought they would be. I mean it controls better than the first few Resident Evil games....there is a charm to the way the game controls.
The sounds enemies make when you kill them might be the greatest sound effect in game history....
I love the quirkiness of the game...at the start when your main character meets the Sheriff and his deputy...he lights up a cig...and it cuts to the Sheriff as he coughs from the smoke...the thing is the smoke is not just billowing around him...it is shooting as his face like a fire extinguisher....and then it cuts to the deputy who is standing 6 feet away from the sheriff and the same smoke is flying at her face at 100 miles an hour making her cough...LOVE IT!!!

If Mass Effect 2 hadn't come out in 2010 this would have been my Game of the Year. Bad in places, sure. But as you mentioned, that's part of it's charm. I adore this thing.
