DVD Talk Forum - Prototype Install Issue...any advice?

I picked this up for the PS3 today and it comes up with a message saying that there is a problem with the HDD and i need to free up some space. Well i bought this PS3 recently and have not actually put anything on it yet....so freeing up any space is gonna be tough. I read that they had released an update for this to solve the problem. But as i am new to the system i have no idea where to look for this. Is it on the PS Home thing or PS Store...where should i be looking for update files? Not particulaly impressed with the menu systems they have in play. Rather messy for what it is. Any help pointing me in the right direction is appreciated.
