Hahaha, shoes too! Hate to break it to ya, but when you have 7 kids, you kind of have to pitch in, or the spouse tends to get a little upset.

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

Hello fellow B.O.'ers
I won't be able to host this week, i'm having my friends over to watch the Phish Concert PPV ()

Also, my dad is moving back in over the weekend and is staying for a couple months. This means I won't be able to sign on till 10:00-10:30 for the games in the new year.

I know, i'm being a bad host. Sorry guys.

Are we really gonna go through this whole converstion again?! Hand him a controller, tell him to man up and kill some of us whippersnappers or you're sending him to live at the old folks home where he can have all the jello he wants.
By holding the controller and mashing buttons he should at least kill r2 a few times.

I've tried to get my dad to use the PS3 controller but every time I try to bring up the R/L 1&2 buttons he loses it. Heck, he has a hard enough time with the Wii controller. Sitting in front of the T.V. is easy for him, if it's not a car show or sports, he falls asleep.

LOL. Speaking of all spending time together. Origami opened his own copy of BO on Christmas and his cousin "Not Origami" has come into possession of a PS3 and a copy of BO. We may end up with even more underage competitors. Not Origami's older brother (he's 13 and his brother is 15) will probably be joining on a semi-regular basis I would guess.

I'm starting to think that Slider is some celebrity that doesn't want us to recognize his voice.

Once again guys, I will be playing the part of a dirty hippie tonight and not a nerdy video game geek.

Do they know they are horning in on your day to wage war and slaughter with all their peace-y "bouncing around the room" ?

Smells like feet, onions and patchouli when you hang around hippies.
I like the smell of victory. Napalm and burnt human flesh.

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

Had fun last night with some of the more unconventional weapons. I think we need more headshots matches. My aim was getting bad - too much spray and pray.

r2 was late but came on like a f@#kin beast last night. kickin ass and takin names.

In the explosives only match on Grid - a perfect illustration of douchily awesome gameplay- Slider and I launch our weapons at each other and then we were out of ammo we get in close quarters in a room in the north building and we both whip out grenades and hold on to them while running around each other in the room - Obvious the intention was a suicide grenade. Slider was a little quicker on the draw so he got the kill and suicide. Good times.

Flamethrowers, Claymores and Nova Gas was alot of fun on Nuketown. That mode is a keeper.

LMGs, Headshots, C4, RPGs demolition on Summit was fun for me. Sorry if I made it too long. I think the Gunship as a killstreak without having a class that has a lock on launcher does not work. I think we need to add a class with the Strella or add lethal killstreaks that don't obliterate the opposition. I like care packages for their randomness. - Slider sent me a message after the game - "again" - may have to keep that mode in the back pocket.

Gotta remember to get rid of killstreaks in superfast knives.

HAPPY NEW YEARS !!!!!!!

SUCKAS!!!!

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

I'm really sorry I didn't have my headset last night. Couldn't find the thing.

Anyway, I couldn't quite relay the hysteria that occurred when my buddy prematurely killed Mike Myers. I'd already explained the rules and he was just standing in a corner. And he asked if he could shoot stuff while he waited. I said "Sure, just not Mike Myers." So he was just spraying the building in front of him learning controls and getting the hang of aiming and whatnot (his first time playing)... and then Mike Myers just ran right into the frame. Boom. Headshot. Guarantee it was the only headshot he had all night.
