I noticed an oddity.

I had a runner on 2nd, 2 out, full count on Johnny Damon. I attempt to steal, ball 4, but I was thrown out at third...3 outs. Next inning, Johnny Damon is up again. The line also said he walked already also...

Sounds like this game is broken to a degree. This just pisses me off because the baseball purist in me can't stand having my stats screwed up.

I agree....it appears that Sony is proactive in fixing it, but it still sucks.

Also, the starting lineups were not good (at least for Detroit). I downloaded the update with Johnny Damon.

No Austin Jackson, Ryan Raburn starting at Catcher, Santiago at 2nd, Damon in CF, Laird at DH. It appears they did not care about rosters at this point.

Also, I was playing Washington as my first game....they pinch hit in the 8th with Pudge Rodriguez. Then, the next inning he is playing SS....

Where do you DL the new rosters at? Was it part of the auto update? Also I read that they will be updating the rosters during the season about once a week. Isn't this only good for online play since once you start a RTTS or franchise the rosters you start with can't be updated?

Rosters update during the auto-update. You are correct on the latter point, which is why I haven't started my franchise yet. I want Jason Heyward on my roster, goddammit.

Yeah, I don't thnk Sony can legally put anyone in the game that hasn't played in the MLB. That is why the people at Operation Sports create authentic AA/AAA rosters. I will wait for them to create something....hopefully soon. We'll see though, since Sony has to fix the progression on the prospects...which is through a Roster Update I though.

You can D/L the roster via the online portion of the game...Sports Connect or something.

I haven't opened this yet, but the amount of broken shit is really concerning me. Combined with my hatred of not having the option of to change the length of franchise seasons might lead me to actually return this one.

WTF? Has anyone used their Amazon code yet? I tried and it accepted it the first time and then backed itself out. Now the download doesn't appear in my history nor will it accept the code again on the same PS3.. What is going on here? This is a crock of shit!

Start a exhibition game and look for the stadiums when you can choose where to play. They're there and though there's a picture of a lock next to them, it's an unlocked lock. Same thing happened to me and I can use them. I think that the content was on the disc and there was nothing to actually DL, just something to tell them game to activate them.

I just got my code too but am hesitant to open it. My gaming time is limited as it is... I'm sure as hell not going to play a buggy piece of shit. Since I haven't received it from Amazon yet I'll keep my fingers crossed that a patch comes out to address this crap between now and whenever I receive it.

u can ask best buy or walmart if they are still giving the dlc code when purchasing the game there..

just got my dlc code emailed as well but havent activated it yet
