Well, maybe they'll still make it at some point. I don't like it when all of the DLC is released at the same time as the game anyway. It makes it look like they deliberately withheld it.

As a coincidence, I'm rocking the old school Tigers logo t-shirt today (the circle with the Tiger head in the middle)

The one thing that pissed me off about this is that in my franchise my guys have played four games in five days and they're all spent. 4 fucking games and they're dead tired? This is a load of horseshit.

Re: MLB '10: The Show (PS3, PS2, PSP) - March 2nd
ok, the coolest thing just happened.
im doin my rtts as pitcher. the batter hits the ball, it cuts to the homerun angle behind the plate. the batter is slowly walkin to first watchin the ball and at the last second it goes foul at the right field pole. the umpires all come out to first and the announcers say that they have to review the play. they show the replay with the ball going foul at the last minute. umps come back out and rule the ball foul.
having the umpire-called reviews in is an awesome new addition. didnt even know this was gonna be in here.

Yeah, I haven't seen that but I heard about it.
The thing that pisses me off, and they've never let you do this.....is picking uniforms. They randomly choose what you wear. The 2k series has always done this. I want to be able to choose if I want a throwback day or whatever.

Is the downloadable stadiums just an unlock code? I entered my card from the pre-order and it did not really....nothing to download. I thought it was odd. I didn't try the game, but I was just curious.
So, anyone else play franchise more...curious if there are any more glitches. I probably won't start anyways until OS gets the full minors roster done.

Can you turn off the stamina in a season or franchise? I'm thinking about doing it if possible because I'm not going to constantly be subbing guys for everyday starters that are dead tired after a couple of games.

Heartwarming story relating to this game. Sony San Diego is awesome.

A few more glitches:
I hit a line drive to the first basemen in fair territory, and he dives for it, and knocks it foul. The play by play guy says "off his glove and it's a base hit" but it was ruled foul, and I was still at bat.
Another time I hit a shot to the wall, and the center fielder made a leaping catch (9 out of 10 times they always catch it, total bullshit, but that's another story) and my player was apparently in total disbelief because he kept on running right past second base and into the outfield.
My favorite glitch so far is another stat glitch. Sometimes the loading screen will show the players in the running for awards. Well apparently Joba Chamberlain has perfected his swing as a pitcher. He got traded to a team in the NL in my game, and he's right there in the thick of things for the MVP race. His stats? Two homers, 179 RBI, and a nice 19.000 batting average.
Two other players have 12.000 and 14.000 averages respectively.
Did anyone test this game at all?

^^^ I still haven't opened my copy. I want to, but the quantity of bugs are bullshit. Is SCEA going to address this? Has anyone heard anything about them understanding there are major bugs and at least issuing a patch to address some of them?

Apparently SCEA took the month off for their success of the game...they needed a break. That is BS as MLB 2K10 already has a patch submitted to Microsoft for approval. I can see a patch taking a while.

I'd still highly recommend The Show; it's an excellent baseball sim, even with the glitches.

I got called up to AAA with my pitcher, unfortunately my team sucks at defense. I had a game with 5 errors in 2 IP of relief. And I got charged with 4 runs.

I just cannot get a handle on the baserunning controls. I hardly score any runs because I fuck up trying to advance my runners every time. I know it's been years since I played a baseball game but it seems like back in the Ken Griffey Jr Baseball days the controls were so much easier.

You could either hit the triggers to advance or retreat all and each runner had a button over them to select them (so triangle would be for a runner going 2nd to 3rd) so you could give them specific commands. So easy.

I don't know why people didn't copy the MVP controls.

But even that is complicated. Why can't it just be like real classic controls, if you want to move your guy to second from first press up+x. Wanna send a runner home from third, press down+x.
