Amazon warehouse has the 250GB systems for 264 (used, but usually just a dinged box).

edited to add: now it's 282, but "like new" instead.

Man, Kevin Butler NEVER gets old. The old adage is that you can't keep a funny ad campaign going; that it just won't keep people's attention. But this guy nails it every. single. time.

Glad he brought Sexy back during his first year.

I thought he got old after the first commercial.

That one goes in seconds, though, usually. Now there's a "good" one for 238, I don't remember seeing all the different conditions from warehouse before. Anyway, didn't mean to spam the thread, I realize the warehouse changes a ton, these last few ones seemed to last a little longer.

I did the transfer today and was a bit surprised that the old machine still had some data too. I also had to disconnect both machines from wireless before it would make any progress. Did you notice what data is missing?

Also, are you only allowed one machine with authorization for downloaded games? Or do they tell you to deauthorize the old machine so it doesn't count against your max? I thought you could gameshare with three machines.

It's actually 5 machines, but yes, it's so it won't count against your max.

I haven't really had time to test it out to see. The thing I really need to check is the copy protected saves and see if they transferred over correctly.

I was also really annoyed because I forgot that I had saved a bunch of Singstar Dance videos to my new one and didn't save them to a USB before transferring. So I lost all those previous blackmail videos of my friends dancing to N'Sync.

I haven't done any transfers, but I would bet that the games and stuff remain on the old system, and the transfer just un-licenses them. If you try to play them on the old system, you'll probably get some kind of message that the content isn't authorized or something.

The instructions ask you to deauthorize your old machine first, so I don't think that's it... and anyway, if you can authorize up to 5 machines, why do they care? I'll reauthorize my old machine and try it out... maybe it just deletes the stuff that can't normally be moved, like the Heavy Rain save, and that isn't on the exception list.

I knew I was buying Joe Danger a couple of months too early. Oh well...it was with gifted PSN credit anyway.

Re: The Official PS3 thread - Software bugs? We don't need no software bugs

Little question on Controller assignation.

My main controller was always assigned to the first port but ever since i got the Rock Band keyboard, my controller is always relegated to the second or third port and the keyboard always gets the first.

I tried plugging the usb charging cable into my first usb port and plug in my controller but it didn't work. Now i always have to manually reassign my controller (some games just don't want to work if it's not on the first port)

I mean it's not that bothersome, it's an annoyance for sure but i'd like to know how i could make my controller be number 1 always.

Thanks

Are you leaving the rockband stuff plugged in all the time? If so that's causing it. Same thing happened with me with the Nyko Slim Media hub plugged in.

Oh, yeah my keyboard dongle is on it at all times. Still it would be nice if my keyboard would automatically sync up with port 2 and leave port 1 for my controller.

But yeah i guess i'll just unplug the keyboard dongle
