PS3 - Clearing External Drive Cache
 

Not sure if there is away to do this or not. I recently bought an external drive and have been putting all of our digital photos onto it and then viewing them on the PS3.

I copied about 400 over the other night, and viewed some. The list (contents of the folder) loaded very fast and seemed to cache. So now when I copied more over tonight (about 175), when I view the contents of the folder, it loads the first 400 quickly then loads the next (175) over a couple of minutes

So I guess my question is the PS3 cache the contents of the folder from the first time somewhere and if so can I clear it so it does not load some right away, then spend the next 2 to 5 minutes reloading the rest.
